Admittedly, I have seen eff all of Dean Byrne. None of his fights are online and I haven't seen footage of his fight from the CityWest bill either.

Would be a great fight in Ireland if it were to go ahead and Gavin could defend his title this way. If Byrne was on Gavin's level, I think a lot more people would be hyping him up. For that reason, I pick Gavin in the fight because quite simply, I think Gavin is Britain's best prospect by a mile and can't imagine Byrne being as good as him (although I may be wrong as I have only seen him spar)

HOBB, I am assuming that the Bomber has seen Deano and Frankie spar, but how much of Dean Byrne have you ever seen?

both FW fighters now, cant see it happening. He wouldn't sign Curtis up just to get a good hiding
I think thats exactly what Frank has in mind. At pushing 30 I'm sure Frank doesn't see Curtis as more than a good domestic level fighter. He can come again after Frankie's moved on..... this is what Warren is seeing I'm sure.

GBP signed Ruiz just after the Haye vs Valuev fight.... not because they thought Ruiz was a threat to Haye - but to have the full deal on that fight.

Gotta be Daws surely, Frankie is more than ready after that last performance...plus Daws has a promoter with no TV and shifts a few tickets in London it seems. Makes sense to me

Would love it to be Daws but would expect at least one more fight before that. Who knows though, Frankie is being moved nice and fast...

yup, I've thought Daws would be ideal for Frankie for 6 months or so.

He's calling you out here!
From Slapbangwallop's site :TU:
This fight would be mega!
Fight him :box:

byrne and gavin shouldnt really be happening for an irish title although it would be a great fight , lets wait for a world title (it would be a huge fight in dublin or birmingham) which imo frankie or dean will have won in 2 years , he is the best prospect in britain and ireland imo , havent seen much of byrne just 1 fight against reynoso , he looked good but hurt his hand in that fight , i think he will win a world title but not as good as gavin imo
