Well I'm a Haye fan who is more than happy to see David crack on with his own agenda. Personally, I think that a fight with either Klitschko would be signed tomorrow if the brothers would drop their outrageous contractual demands. As far as I can see - and I'm just a fan - to get a fight with either guy, you have to agree (if you win) to face the brother next, then face a rematch with the first Klitschko you beat - with all of these fights taking place on German soil, on K2 promotions. Allegedly stated in an interview two weeks ago that these are the terms that Derek Chisora has had to agree to.
Can you imagine somebody beating Liam Walsh, and then having to face Michael and Ryan in his next fights because it was in the original contract for facing Liam ?! I know they are different weights but I use the point to illustrate how daft it is that, if you beat Wlad, you must face Vitali next. This isn't a clause for the good of the sport, it is a clause for the good of the Klischko's.
I'm no apologist for Haye, and its great to see him making his own way in the division. The WBA route wasn't open to him when he moved into the heavyweight division, so he made a big fuss calling out the Klitschko's, as he'd nothing to lose. Negotiations stalled over the unfair, loaded terms that the Klitschko's demanded, and David went in another direction, dethroning Valuev, stopping his mandatory challenger Ruiz, and now he's cashing in on an inevitable domestic showdown, which will cap an outstanding year for him as a British athlete. Audley doesn't deserve a title shot but the sport is full of undeserving challengers. If Haye fought Shannon Briggs or Albert Sosnowski in 2010, anoraks on here would be slagging him off. Stuff the critics David, line your pockets and keep winning, that's what the greedy Klitschko's are doing

Come on everybody ! Hayes fighting harrison ok, every single person in the uk is talking about it (boxing fan or not), hayes not ducking the klitschkos his just raising his price per day by waiting abit longer, if haye comes through on the 11th of november and wladimir on the 13th of december ( which im 90% sure they will ) i guarantee the two of them will meet next in germany, around march april time. the only heavyweight world champion to ever coward out of a fight was riddick bowe, he lost to lewis as an amateur and knew deep down in his heart he couldent beat him as a pro !
We have a true great in david haye and you should be backing him not slagging him, your all be kissing his arse when he knocks out wlad wont you ?

I dont believe Haye is scared to fight either brother, but I do believe he wants to secure a pension pot payday for doing so.
This is a risky strategy. Either or both brothers could retire. Vitali is now older than Lewis was when he fought him, and has a history of injuries.
Wlad is not exactly a spring chicken either, even for a heavyweight.
Both men seem to be involved in lots of things outside of boxing, are both intelligent men, and don't in all honesty need Haye. They've made their money, and it's not like Haye is a megastar, and isn't likely to become one, unless he were to beat one or maybe even both brothers.
Haye may if he isn't careful, price himself out, and then find himself with a belt in a division nobody cares about.
Let's face it, even with the Klits' the heavyweight division is regarded as a bit of a joke, what on earth would it be like without them?

To call Haye average at heavy is laughable. Also if you told us "years ago" then no doubt you were one of those muppets claiming he would never even get past British level at cruiser weight. Funny how quiet the likes of Chris Aston have been since then.
was quiet cos i was barred u turd.....haye is a bottle job full stop....klits will kill hm as wud chag and a few others.....he fought a 55 year old for the cruiser title then moved to heavy avoided all the guys calling him out ....which is about his style....ere spaco...whats haye done thats so effing exciting with the last 4 years then....NOTHING BUT TALK....
Imagine if Hobson hadn't bottled the Haye fight in 2005! Oh boy, that would have been horrible to watch for Truthspoken. He seemed to really believe his man was good enough to beat Haye

Its seems opinion on Haye has well and truly turned now. The backlash will get worse after the Audley sham when we hear "We have to honour our mandatory against Ruslan Chagaev" before we can fight a Klitscko
Pretty sure K2 offered him a 50-50 split with no options so the crazy terms argument is doesn't stack up.

Yeah but, No but, Yeah but, No But - no wonder he is being mocked as Boxing's Vicky Pollard.
I'm a fan as I respected the fact that he was fighting the likes of Fragomeni in front of 2 men and his dog, then going to Paris on his vinnie jones to fight the division's #1. It was brilliant and refreshing to see a fighter just calling everyone out and then making it happen.
But it would seem since the appearances on Chatty man, hanging out with Khan on twitter, posting pics of his £100k mercedes wrapped around a lamp post - it just all of a sudden got very very tedious.
It 'feels' like the f*ck it attitude he once had, is totally diluted now with really chavvy Jordan-style social media 'Tweets' and bloody 'book signings' FFS.
What next a bloody iphone app?? oh wait - he's just brought one out and had a 'launch party'. Next thing he will be sending out videos of his celebrity friends in the gym watching him.
This creature is not the one I followed intently - he would never have fought Audley Harrison, never ever. Its a horrible cynical fight and after he has demolished him, everyone will say, how come we fell for the patter that Audley was gonna go for it??
Fact is, now Haye has a chunk of change in his pocket and some sort of Hello magazine image going on, this is it now for ever.
And amidst all of that glitz, it's now appearing that many of the fans of his have soured on him.
And if/when he does fight a Klitschko, many may be thinking the intelligent, friendly brothers will be doing the public a big favour by wiping him out.
I will cheer him as I always do - but I can plainly see why many will not do anymore.
x2
I was a big Haye fan but now I couldn't care less for exactly the reasons you have outlined. If the fights with either of the Klits do eventually happen I will watch, but as a fan of boxing, not as a fan of Haye. I honestly don't think it will even bother me who wins tbh. I can't even bring myself to watch any of the build up vids to the Audley BS fight. I just turn over or hit the mute during Ringside. The anger it causes is just not worth it.

My hope is that it absolutely flops at the ppv and burns everybody concerned.

he's topping off his pension before he takes the klitschko fights.
i don't mind him doing that so much.
but when he's taking on someone as undeserving as audley i do mind.
i would have been perfectly happy with an adamek fight.
but no.

I think there's a good chance that Haye will cut an exclusive deal with Bravo to take on the Klitschkos

i think to be fair the chageav fight his a high risk to low reward ratio than either klit fight. So i cant see him fighting chageav next.
The klits are higher risk fights but the purse matches that where as the money for fighting chageav would be less than he's getting for harrison.
