For me the fight is intruiging solely for the "what if" factor. On paper this should be a very routine win for Haye who has fought better opposition than Audley, has better experience on the big stage in professional terms and clearly has an advantage in terms of hand speed and very importantly foot speed.
One of Haye's great strengths is his ability to fight aggressively on the back foot as well as on the front foot. His ability to do this is down to his foot speed which is lightening fast for a heavyweight. Just look at the shot he put Ruiz down with. He was backing up when he threw that and Audley will really struggle with this in my opinion as even if he manages to stalk him down, Haye will still be dangerous. Another thing Haye does excellently is use feints which is something I've never seen Audley do. When Audley throws a shot he has to telegraph it to generate the kind of power that can knock a guy out. Haye doesn't need to do this and if you watch closely will often use the first round to figure his opponent out, particularly if he is a dangerous puncher. He does this by throwing feints to see how the opponent reacts. The Maccarinelli fight is a prime example.
What I am getting at here is that Audley has a whole world of problems facing him. People often just look at Haye's devastating power and handspeed as his big weapons but his foot speed and boxing brain are also excellent.

“Harrison’s chinny”, “He’s going to get KO’d early”, “He’ll be gun shy” etc??

Exactly Ben its no great surprise is it really. Take the Klitschko boys out and Thompson would have a chance with all the other heavies for me so perhaps if anything it will be the wake up call that all champions need from time to time.
Could funnily be the worst thing that has happened for Harrison because he knew Haye had a fragility about him anyway, all this has done is remind Haye of that fact.
I've never seen Thompson as I don't really watch the heavies - but heavyweight boxing is like that and a chin is a chin. You cannot train it or put muscles on it. If there is a weak chin in a heavyweight fight then there's nothing fighter A can do if fighter B lands on it.
I know what you mean though, as in keeping it tucked away now he knows the mistakes he's made - I wasn't trying to shoot you down

No worries Smigga thats exactly what I meant, keeping it tucked away that little bit more, more focus on the job in hand etc rather than believing his own hype type scenario.
Won't have done him any harm its happened to him many times in sparring and he still goes out and does the job, its just a wake up call, possibly needed as well.

I'm still not going to take out the PPV on this . Haye by knockout within 6 minutes . Harrison runs until hit ,doesn't get a punch off .Walkover - and I'm putting money on it . Audley will return to America and be quickly forgotten . There will be an uproar afterwards from people complaining about wasting their money on this .

I heard the Price knockdown from an ABA coach who was in the gym at the time.
It was back in 2005 and Haye was alledgedly dishing out spiteful hiding, Price went back to his corner shrugging his shoulders asking what the F he could do about it? He was told in no uncertain terms to give him some back.
Price went out and dropped Haye very heavy and the sparring session was over.
But sparring is sparring and Booth and Haye know his weaknesses and use it to their advantage by tempting opponents onto his sharp powerful counters and 9 times out of 10, he'll get you before you get him.

No he isn't, he's a more "wear you down" type. Doesn't usually stop opponents with one shot.

This fight isn't going to be won or lost on either man's ability to soak up big shots. Both have known vulnerabilities in this area.
However, cannot hurt Audley's inner belief if this is true, and that's the one area where Haye currently holds all the cards.
It's possible however that this is just a bit of misinformation from Haye's camp, they did the same to Enzo.

Tyson got dropped in sparring too, it happens. Plus haye is fully aware he can be put on his arse and always gets back up - so i doubt it will dampen his confidence.

Wasnt that way back in 1990? not exactly the end of his career.

Remember, anything negative that happened to Tyson in the ring came about outside of his prime. I thought everyone knew this?

Should this be worrying for Haye or is to be expected from heavyweight sparring?
If this is true coupled with that I've just been watching top 10 prizefighter moments (with Audley's huge KO of Barret the number 1 moment) added to this the addition of Groves to the undercard is leaving me seriously excited about heading to the MEN in a couple of weeks.
How would Audley know? Has anyone (apart from Audley) stated it?
No- as far as I can see only Audley's claimed this (no response from Haye camp as yet)
For anyone that hasn't see the comments:

My mate Neil Hosking and Michael Sprott sparred with Audley in Cornwall when Aud turned over. They were both bound, i.e. paid not to say how their sparring went!!

200 quid each!!
Harrison for an upset methinks, might have a tenner on it.

No, but neither was Lolenga Mock. Harrison has the better chin in this fight, I don't think you'd see Audley put over by a super middle.

A boxer's chin can be funny things though and I definately think training can help (at a low level). I've seen a few novice amateurs chin's get better in time, and I don't think they have learned to ride a shot in the period - just I think better conditioning (we were talking out of condition amateurs here).
Danny Williams' is another one - the fighter was bashed around from pillar to post by Samil Sam of all people. Could hardly stand up - took some almighty bombs from Tyson (aside the combination that had him gone). Apparently, if the reports are true in sparring he had an almighty chin in his early career and it was a massive shocker the way his chin gave way against Sam. He cited Shingles for this loss, I don't buy it - but don't doubt ill health can make you physically weaker and more vulnerable.
So, whilst not surprising, it is a little concerning Haye's being floored this late in camp. Its also alarming because you know, if he was "out of it" this late then it might affect his punch resistance during the contest.
However, its not surprising - Haye's chin aint great. Haven't learned much there.

Tony T talks up Haye here, says he'll beat Aud easy, But his refusal to comment on the KD pretty much confirms he put him over.
