"I a'int got your f'ing pink shirt alwight" (Err..you are wearing it you thick twat!)

Like you can slip round and shag my bird as soon as my backs turned, but don't accuse me of nicking your pink shirt cos that is a liberty!

As for the mobile phone episode, I bet thats the biggest Ring Ian's ever seen!! (Post Klitschko fight of course!!!)

Great TV I thought.

Looks like I'll have to go there. Photography is a hobby of mine and I like to take photos, of places and people in what some term as 'crap' towns.

A lot of Medway (adians? oadians? ites? etc not sure! lets just say people in Medway) seem to have ancestors who have moved south from London or are themselves from a travelling background. It makes for arguably one of the least attractive accents in the British Isles. Walk down Chatham high street on a saturday afternoon and it makes you want to give up on life! The place is full of scag heads, piss heads, beggars and the thing Chatham almost revels in producing...modern chavs!!
i spent loadsa time last year in chatham, and i swear to god i have never been more scared in my life. of all places to stick a fashion uni aswell!!!!!! hahaha.
Mate i come from medway so i know all about it!Its bloody grim!Lol.Thankfully for me i wasnt actually born there and thus following the bloodline!Ha.Sooner or later il be out of here!Lol
Rochester is quite nice as are a couple of places in outer Chatham and Gillingham if you will, but you are right, it is a pretty grim place.
Decent pedigree as regards Kent and South East Boxing though and it looks like continuing. Still, I guess rough areas produce decent fighters!

John Armour is probably the best boxer to come out of Chatham, Tom Dallas lives somewhere in the Medway Towns i believe and Gary Mason used to live in Lordswood for a while although he was'nt born in the area.

I used to go and watch Gillingham play a few years ago and there are some really nice people that live there also, but i never go out in the evening in Chatham or Gillingham.

Johnny is the boxing claim to fame in the area and Tom does indeed live in Medway. He is Medway born and bred. My old man used to play cards with Mason down Chatham snooker club.

Plenty of decent amateurs who could have made decent pros too from the Chatham area too. Drink, rucking in the street and other recreational activities seem to hinder quite a few!

St Marys and the old Medway Golden Gloves have enjoyed success over the years in the ams, now got Brompton doing well too and so is Rumbols fight academy in Sittingbourne(don't be fooled by location, Chatham in all but the premises lol)

Rochester is the only place worth going for a night out by the way.

I think that Armour's career was hindered by a little spot of bother with the law actually,i cant be sure but seem to remember that it led him to relinquish/stripped of his European Title.
Albert Coates boxed for Medway Golden Gloves for a while and was a good amateur, dont know what happened to him though.

Johnny has had a few troubles with the law at various times. Shame really, he is a very nice guy.

Albert was a good fighter. Think it was him that gave Hatton a good fight in the schoolboys one year. There are a few little Coates up at Repton now which is where the better Medway Golden Gloves boys ended up once it closed. They followed the Becks up there. Father and son both trainers up there, well at least they were a couple of years ago, have nit seen either for a while.
