Most people thought it was a draw Glen took the first quite well, mitchell cut him and won the second ,Glen came back well in the 3rd to take it then Dee won the last very convincingly 2 rounds each was the general consensus but the ref who had a bit of a mare all night gave it too foot.
Fight should be online somewhere so people can take a look see what they think

Liked the look of Glen Foot last night - if he gets the number of fights he should this year and irons out some problems - we could be talking and writing about a very good boxer indeed.

a very good fighter??? the over hyped Foot faced a 34yr old opponent on one hell of a losing streak and Foot just won, JUST!!! lets not forget that and the reality we all know it could of gone either way. now what would happen if Glen Foot came up against someone good, now that i know the answer to and deep down you do too!

Let's be fair Dee Mitchell is a tough journeyman but he can box a but as well! He drew with Conception and gave Haughian a hell of a fight, IMO that's a superb win (be it close or wide) for only his 3rd fight! Maloney obvisouly believes in him to throw him in with someone like Dee Mitchell this early in his career IMO.

I was there at the dome and thought foot just nicked it. But if Dee would have started quicker and been busier he would have have won. If it had been 6 rounds would have been interesting. As Glen didn't have a plan B. Dee Mitchell Iron Chin.

Such a shame I am not around here that often anymore - otherwise I would have thoroughly enjoyed a good "ruck" with you young man!! :TU:

Read my post and then please come back to me to tell me about boxing it seems you know so much to attempt to tell me what my opinion of a fighter is.

Clearly Foot has some "novicey" problems which I am sure will get ironed out - but I do thoroughly look forward to any future posts you make enlightening boxrec of your immense knowledge.

There is no pleasing some people :witzend: Glen Foot is a strong, gutsy and capable boxer who is going places. He's got an aggressive style and heavy hands so will keep the fans happy. What's not to like?
