Who cares ? he was sh*t anyway.

I much prefer the Scots like Anderson, Appleby, Burns and Simpson.

Good fighters with a bit of pride about them.

I think Burns would be able to beat him. He would just need to fight a replica of the Martinez fight. Harrison wasn't as good as Martinez when he was active, I doubt he is as good as Martinez now.

:o I strongly disagree! A prime Scott Harrison would have handled the powerful yet very crude Martinez without too much bother. Whether you like the man or not, you can't deny at one point in time he was a very good boxer.

He may struggle to make weight these days but if he's half the fighter he once was then he could cause a stir at whatever weight he comes back at, hopefully

What nonsense. Harrison was a very good fighter - never the best in his division, but definitely world class. He was a little limited, but incredibly strong and tough at his best.

It's debatable I think. A prime Scott Harrison got beaten by Manuel medina and drew with Victor Polo, who aren't as good as martinez either. Harrison was a good fighter but had his limitations. I'd like to see him vs Burns though. I think Burns has the style to beat him.

Not taking anything away from Burns, the martinez victory is the best victory for a british point of view this year...But Cook is the only name on his record..Harrison beat far better people..Burns is still learning&going forwards....

I cant see scott getting near lightweight and being strong so it would need to be LWW

Exactly mate, styles make fights. Harrison struggled mightily with Medina and Polo for sure - he struggled with movers. That's why Burns would probably give him a tough time. At the same time because of their respective styles, I feel Harrison would have handled Martinez with less bother than Burns did. Harrison's iron chin and textbook hard punching would have been a nightmare for the wide swings of the "come at you" Martinez.

Even if Harrison get's his licence back when he get's outta jail does he really deserve a shot at Burns? I'd be a big fight in Scotland but it wouldn't really prove much. In his prime i reckon Harrison woulda beat Burns but right now i dont think Burns would have any problems with him. I hope Scott does fight again everybody deserves a chance to redeem themselves.

Money talks, Harrison will still be a name and a ticket seller and will get his shot if he comes back. Same reason as Audley Harrison gets his shot against Haye IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!

I think Scott would need several fights before he got a ranking and any hope of a title shot.Has i say Ricky aint losing any sleep worring about it,if it happens it happens.

Martinez was one of the weakest champions I've ever seen, Harrison would've mugged him in his prime, easily.
