He just looks like a squat little short man, not especially great at anything to me and a bit of a pretty boy. On youtube the clip of his most recent fight is 8 mins 34 secs but 4 minutes of that is dancing and posing to his own ring entrance in his fancy adidas trainers. Maybe I'm missing something but he just looks a posh Denton Vassell to me.

mind you I never thought Jermain Taylor was a million dollars versus Angel Manfredy and he proved me wrong so maybe it's early to call.
Ermmmm.... :-?
Floyd Mayweather?
Who??

Taylor was about 18-0 and he didn't look particularly fast or mobile to me at the time....I'm not saying he wasn't any good but I think he improved massively as he impressed me since whenever I've seen him...Froch , Pavlik (for a while anyway)

 Angel Manfredy was a super-featherweight! I know Taylor liked to feast on smaller fighters but that one would really be crossing the line! At first I thought NEBF might be confusing Manfredy with ANgel Hernandez, the durable light-middleweight but Taylor never fought Hernandez either. How bizzare.....

u saying I'm a liar??

Right. It was a fight between a black guy hailing from LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS who I believe was JT. He fought a white guy who's body was covered in tattoos....more than Kessler. He had a bald head I believe and I believe he boxed in white trunks with purple trim. There was talk about boxing having saved him from prison from memory. I think a lot of his tats were of a religious persuasion.

It was a late night KOTV/ Friday Night Fights job and I suspect Teddy Atlas commentated.

I thought he had the word Angel in his name.... :-? ......it could be I've seen Teddy commentate on this Manfreddy fellow and got mixed up......I've studied Jermain Taylor's record and I can't see one name on there that rings a bell for this fight.....I could be talking up to 6 years ago, maybe a bit more, JT was an up and comer and not widely known at all in this country like he is now amongst fans like myself..........sorry fellas I've obvioulsy got mixed up here, thanks for rightly pointing out my error! :TU:

incidentally the script went to plan and JT won and the fella gave a real good showing of himself...... :-?
