I have some questions about this that I would like to pose to you all.

1: Would this be a good idea for Hatton? given his recent issues, and his horrific defeat to the pac man.
2: is it in reality a step down for Amir Khan.
3: would it even sell out???

My opinion, is that the fight would be a huge mis-match. I would fear for Hattons safety and well-being, and personally would not like to see the fight happen. In fact, I would prefer Hatton to continue promoting rather than getting back into the ring to entertain us all again.
khan is no mayweather or pacman and will never be in my opinion.
Sure if ricky can regain his health have 3-4 good gym "fights" i could see him coming back at the m e n and destroying khan in front of 55,000.
I think you've been smoking some strong stuff!

"He walked outside and climbed into a grey BMW and was driven around the block before being dropped off where he’d got in."

Sounds like it may not just be the booze. His life, but no way should he be coming back to boxing.

Seems pretty obvious that Hatton's heart is not really into the fighting side of things anymore- It would be a one sided mismatch.

You can shake your head all you want fella, but you're the one who's ignoring the critical context of his troubles out of the ring, his declining skills and punch resistance, and lack of desire :shame:

I can't knock water back as fast as Hatton knocks back pints! :o

Forget about him ever returning to the ring. I just hope he can get his life in order. His liver is going to be fooked pretty soon as this rate.

I think Hatton would have to have a comeback fight first so he, and we, can see where he's at

2: is it in reality a step down for Amir Khan.

Not at all.

3: would it even sell out???

Of course it would. Haye-Harrison proved name value sells more than any other consideration.

khan doesn't hit hard enough for this to be that dangerous and if ricky can get fit again i think this would be a great fight for the sport.

he's been looking good over the last 6 weeks fitness-wise so who knows...
Ask Maidana if Khan hits hard after his ribcage was sent almost to the other side of his body.

Well if that's the case-i haven't had much luck betting on fight outcomes.

Khan never looked that good post Tszyu. I think he was a fighter who peaked early. Even against Maussa he was getting tagged far too much, by a very ordinary fighter.

It's not the two defeats, its his decline in form, fitness and dedication, and his very dodgy lifestyle. Hatton has abused himself, and isn't the same man he was 5 years ago.

He'd have to work like a mutha to get down to 140 now, and doubt he would be arsed. I think his chin has also been cracked as he was shaken also by Collazo, and absolutely destroyed by Pacquaio with one clean punch.

Hatton had a good beard early on, but it seems to have gone. Khan is no concussive puncher, but I feel certain that he would stop Ricky now, either by KO or mercy stoppage from the ref.
