Ian Wilson has suffered with injuries but still hopes to return to boxing. I think he's a real talent.

jawaid khaliq won the IBO title and mixed in with some top class opponents. not world class but just short of that. another fighter to retire undefeated was ricardo samms, he had a ton of potential.

Mo failed a brain scan the last i heard. He was supposed to be turning pro with Enzo Calzaghe as his manager.

Agh 'the Monk'. I think I recall seeing his debut on the undercard of Wayne McCullough-Jose Luis Bueno and also featured Vince 'the Sligo Kid' Feeney and a cracking fight involving Shannon Taylor.

It was the first pro show I attended and I was impressed by McFadden who, as the Floater, made his entry to an emptying hall.

I always tried to follow what he went on to do as he sort of disappeared and then someone told be he had a Building Surveying firm in Donegal/Derry.

Whilst your last statement is bollocks, the rest of your post is a good shout - except for the fact he wasn't unbeaten. Jawaid was a fantastic boxer and it was a real shame when he decided to knock it on the head at 36. In my view, he was at his peak at the wrong time politically to be able to get big fights in the States - who wanted to see a guy with a name like Jav's possibly beating American champions circa 2001-2004. As far as I know, he's still doing some taxi work but his main passion lies with the gym he and his brother opened a year or two back.

if froch was so well supported in nottingham.....which as one of britains best ever fighters youd think he should be.......why are his fights taking place in places like helsinki,denmark and almost always anywhere but nottingham and it isnt about super 6 home and away stipulations. Nottingham is a big city it has two football grounds.

He's form my hometown of kettering, the rumour going round is that he was last seen in Peterborough bottling the fook out of somebody outside a bar whilst taking a year out.... though i cant be sure if this is true. He had a lot of buzz about him around town especially as he was training David haye
