in what way Stu?
Premier sports have claimed that they have rights to HBO or some kind of contract with them. Premier have a strong affiliation with Irish sports - if they cannot get this fight, then it shows that they don't have a particularly strong contract with HBO.

They have showed Martinez' last fight also.

Aer Lingus fly into Boston from Dublin. From Boston it's around 2 hours drive/bus journey to Mashantucket. I just done a quick search on flight prices and it's the bones of €500 return. Greyhound coaches go from the airport in Boston straight to Foxwoods where the fight is on. The coach will cost around $30 e/w.
:-?
Tis feckin hardship no doubt. Seven hour flight to Boston from Dublin plus the usual hours of shite you put up with in US airports. Foxwoods looks like a complete kip and the venue holds only 4000 (I think). I can't understand why it isn't in MSG :witzend: ? There must be brown envelopes involved :-?
MSG is so much handier, plenty of hotels within walking distance and not to far from airport in New York. I wonder if demand is good enough would they tranfer the fight to MSG????

How about the beginning, ever so often skipping to the end, and then finish in the middle.
I see you've read his little pieces then...

American promoters aren't known for being practical with venues. In fact they are fecking useless at it. It's the same with putting Bradley/Alexander in Detroit. There is no market for the fight there, where as in St Louis they would have done at least 15,000 tickets.
