I'll have to go with Larry on this one. Think McDermott may get the first few rounds but will struggle with Larry's power and eventually stopped inside 7.

I think Larry will stop him inside 4 rounds.

John definately has the much better skills.
Larry is stronger but maybe a little more limited (sorry Larry).
Larry has improved, for sure and John seems to have lost his lust for Boxing, so I would go for Larry, as he is much, much more motivated these days than John.
John, of a few years ago.....I would have gone for him to beat Larry and most other domestics (bar Skelton and Williams - although the Williams fight was very, very close).
Larry to win, probably by grinding down stoppage in about 8-9 rounds.

I had to laugh when the Sky Commentary Team said that McDermott had "left it in the gym" during the sceond Fury fight.

if you want an example of a 'true' fight of the year look at Martin Rogan beating Matt Skelton as a 12-0 novice
theres your yardstick, gentlemen.

I was live and right at the front that night and I swear it was the best fight I've witnessed live, I will say thus though, it finished both of them, I've never seen 2 guys take so many big clean shots!! Rogan showed the heart of a lion at times!! He was hurt several times but in the end just wore Matt down!! It was a terrific fight that I'll never forget ;) big ups to 2 true gladiators ;)
Another quick mention is Sexton V Rogan I too, atmosphere was something else!! ;)
