the record for the MEN, but thats only been open about 10 years..
i am sure Ali-Cooper at Wembley along with Billy Walkers fights must have got 50000+ (before everyone had three TV;s each)
Benn v Eubank got a live gate of 45000, which considering it was available on free TV live is pretty incredible (16 million watched it)

I heard Aldo Rios got 300K to fight Ricky, so he (ricky) must be on more than 200K.

Are you sure? I know Vince Phillips only got 50k for his fight with Hatton.

That figure for Rios is way wide of the mark.
I think many posters would be shocked if they knew the purse levels in Hatton fights.

Yeah for Rios to have earned anything close to 300k it would have to have been Harold Smith promoting the fight.
