Two days to go. Maybe they are just not having it put on the schedule.

What happened?

Well what happened was that in the main event ( Serge Yannick V Prince Hamid) Hamid was taking a beating so in the 4th he led with a 1, 2, kick. At first I thought it was a mistake or a reaction to getting hurt but he almost pushed the ref over when warned. He was then disqualified which prompted him to race of to our corner throwing puches and kicks trying to KO Serge. Serge let loose with a right hand / left hook which almost put him on his arse. Luckily his corner stepped in and pulled him away. He was lined up for a good kicking.

I hope Hamid never gets to fight in a boxing ring again. What a disgrace, he was fighting good but loosing every round just got frustrated and should have quit rather than be a prick. The rest of the pro bill was great, the opening bout what a peach excuse the pun. I thought Conway got beat but the crowd got him the verdict. Not sure about 9 corpurate fights. 1 would have been too many but I guess it doubled the crowd. All in all very impressed with what I saw - It restored my faith in the kiwi fight scene :TU:

Didn't you think the first fight was a cracker? The only fight that I thought was shit (Prof.) was the main event. The rest were allgood - shame I got there at half 6 and had to wait 3 hours for a pro fight.

Corp fights are shit, I understand that overhere you can't put pro fights on unless you get corps to make the money. But please don't dress it up! I'm gonna be there for april 2 and 14 where can i meet you and buy tickets? Let me know when the corp fights finish, so I can get there at maybe 9 instead of 7. Because some of my mates back home and me can kill these monkies, it's not boxing!

Im based on the North shore mate so let me know where abouts you are and we can meet up perhaps this weekend and i'll have some tix for ya!! Appreciate your support!

Fair call RE corporate bouts, however I have seen some cracker corp fights in an ideal world id like to put on 5/6 good pro fights but theres just not the money in it to do it, unless theres a top notch main like Tua for example!

NZs biggest boxing critic Rogue. Do you ever have anything positive to say about the NZ fight scene if it's not a card that your employed on?
