Good scrap, fair enough fight. Same old tired faces though...looking forward to some new blood coming through and fighting for titles in 2011!!

That was an excellent bout with both men showing real sportsmanship. I agree with the decision but Jamie Arthur showed he belongs up there. 2 tough, well schooled boxers. Thank you.

Credit to both fighters, gave it their all in an thoroughly entertaining fight indeed.

Thought that Booth won comfortably in the end, Arthur dropped off the pace and after the third his work wasn't clean at all. Was closer than McDonell's score but defo the right decision!

i didnt try to score it on this occasion , but when it finished i thought booth had done enough but wasnt 100% sure , hes having t come from behind more often lately , whys that i wonder , is he now beginning to show his age ? , i hope not as hes a fighter i really like to watch , not just because hes from nottingham , just heis style , hes a clever boxer .

I had booth by two - out boxed to start with a couple of really messy rounds that took the wind out of Arthurs sails, then booth started to box his fight and won. Did well to turn that fight around.

watched the fight when i got home this morning

i had booth 115-113 although many of the rounds were very very close

i will be collating scores again for my blog tonight and will post them when im done , the joys of nightshift..well it beats work anyway lol

Well I said all along I thought Jamie could beat Booth and lets be honest he nearly dominated the early rounds. Both lads did very well and I believe the fight could have gone either way, still trying to work out what fight Marcus was watching though
