Agreed, it was a great show. Was a little suprised Watson rated Benn more highly than Mike McCallum, but he's more qualified to judge than I am.

Ringside just keeps on improving.

The programme is a credit to all the team who put a lot of thought into it.

A must for any boxing fan. :TU:

My SKY series link deleted itself. It's never on the anytime thing, it should be.

If you go into the search it'll show up 5-6 times the following week so you can set it to record but it's gone the week after.

Spencer Oliver is one very lucky guy and he knows it.

I think ringside has been great recently.
michael watson is just something else.....a charasmatic flamboyant guy who always gives thanks to the lord for getting him through. its great to hear a guy like that is mentoring young fighters.

i dont like to compare these things but my gut feeling is, watson is the one who lost the most in the ring...for sure he would have won a world title in the early 90s shake up and had some lucrative battles with collins, calzaghe, a rematch with benn and perhaps robin reid......anyway i dont like to say these things its wrong as ingle and spencer lost so much as well.........but oliver is a young man with a good job......ingle i just hope he idnt drinking. he made it as world champion and is still relatively young at 38 i just hope and know he will lose weight and some one in boxing should have some decency and give him a role that such a man deserves

I agree the production of ringside was much better.

The ring set for the watson interview was far superior to the old red white and blue one they usually use.

They finally put the mic on johhny nelson properly and we could hear him properly. Johhny is really in his element when interviewing other fighters

What a superb show, enjoyed every minute - fascinating and moving stuff - and Nelson is going from strength, a complete natual who is, as said above, in his element talking to fighters.

Brilliant stuff, massive congrats to all production staff.

I'm fairly sure the "set" for the Watson interview was actually Spencer Olivers gym in Finchley. I've only been there once but it looked familiar.

in which case spender has great taste and lets make it the permanent set!
