When I got a call to say someone will help out and it was him, when I looked at his record my heart sunk, but I got to his house and told him he said f------ ell , I told him its better than not boxing and we needed him out after 8 months of inactivity, and I wanted him to do the rounds, yes I agree he didn't learn nothin but it got him out and shook off the cobwebs, the amount of shows this weekend was the reason
Danny Dontchev's record is hardly a shimmering one either.
dontchev war thursdays opponent, not an ideal opponent ,what do u do with 2 days to go ?????

It's not better than him not boxing at all, not for the paying public. How did it get sanctioned? Just a question from a simple boxing fan.

I like JGreaves, and I understand that some journeymen come to fight, but to people who aren't journeymen, and especially to hardcore boxing fans, fights like this are pointless. I admire you defending your fellow people but come on, what interest is this kind of fight to anyone who isn't personally known to either guy?

Probably because Moyo rarely gets stopped and judging by the scores in some of his lossess he manages to win or fight level in some rounds.

Are you justifying a guy 12-0 fighting a guy 0-20-1?

I'm giving probable reasons why it was sanctioned. The board probably saw that Moyo doesn't get stopped often and manages to win some rounds. Considering Smedley is not a big puncher and had been off for roughly a year, there was no strong reason to think Moyo's health was in danger or anything along those lines. The board probably looked at this fight as Smedley getting some much needed rounds in after a layoff--happens all the time.

I am not saying it was an fine matchup, but there are clear reasons why it was approved.

Your not saying it was a fine match-up because it was a disgrace of a match-up. I really can't believe I'm still talking about this,or you either.
