Best of Luck
Your with a great trainer
You'll probably have a few more of them on your travels. And I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities to knock the ref in the future, but I wouldn't do it when you get a shutout.danny brown wrote:Thanks Dan, ive only ever boxed, what did u think of the opponent last sunday?,i think he made it more of a wrestling match and i didnt think the ref did a very good job eitherDan Dares wrote:Southpaw right? Saw you box last sunday afternoon. You looked quite handy. Did you used to do anything else (MMA, thai, etc)?
Good luck mate! Sorry to hear about that, but great news that you've rebuilt your career!danny brown wrote:Hi Scott i started boxing at 16 i had around 25 amateur bouts all senior,of which i won 17 or 18,unfortunately in december 2000 i was involved in a head on car crash in which i severely injured my shoulder which forced me to stop boxing for ten years. I hope this has been of use thanks ScottScottrf wrote:What can you tell us about your amateur career?
Good luck
Probably right there Dan just a bit frustrating, hopefully wont get another one of them on the 19th or else i may have to take up grappling lessonsDan Dares wrote:You'll probably have a few more of them on your travels. thanks ryan that was tough but i think i made it hard for myself,i fought his fight got drawn into a fight i think, also drying out to make the weight didnt help i felt really flat after the first round, plus the 7 pound i gave away but i will just use this as a learning experience and move onBrit Ryan wrote:Hard fight last night but congratulations on your win
i am 34 years old now,i am old enough to realise that the time i have left in boxing is not long so realisticly a southern area title and then maybe a crack at an english title,i think with with jason and richard in my corner this is possiblekamicazze wrote:how old are you now danny? and what are your realistic aims and objectives? masters titles, area etc
thanks Dan should of kept it long really but felt really flat after the first round and got drawn into a fight, could really feel the extra weight caught me with some cracking shots but thats boxing mateDan Dares wrote:Well done tonight Danny - you dealt well with a much heavier guy.
