Fury would defo be the underdog..id lump on him to beat Chisora 6/5 something like that....

I would have Chisora a slight favourite, but only because his fights against Sexton and Williams were more impressive than Fury's win over McDermott. Not much in it from a betting point of view. Both fighters can take a dig. Should be a good scrap.

Might this be a little early for Fury? If he's sorted his conditioning out by July (stranger things have happened) I'd fancy him to win on points behind the jab - Chisora's not exactly Bennie Briscoe himself in the stamina department, he was taking the odd round off against Sexton last time out. That said, Chisora's the neater, more disciplined fighter. Intriguing matchup..

Two unbeaten heavyweights square off for the British heavyweight title now that blubbery Tyson Fury has been made mandatory challenger to blubbery Dereck Chisora by the Board in a contest that must take place by the end of July, although for 'must' we can read 'may', 'might' or even 'nah!' in the crazy world of boxing.
Chisora, 14-0 (9), won the good ol' Lonsdale Belt with a second-round dismissal of Brixton veteran Danny Williams last May at Upton Park, but Williams had admitted from his oxygen tent beforehand that he was "shot", so it was hardly career-defining stuff for Chisora, although he retained the belt with a solid nine-round stoppage of Norwich threat Sam Sexton in September in Birmingham, which also won him the Commonwealth belt. The Londoner then missed out on a pasting at the hands of Wladimir Klitschko in December for a couple of world heavyweight belts when the giant Ukrainian tweaked his back late on, so Chisora should be in good shape at least.
Those words do not quite apply to Fury, a giant of a man from Cheshire who needs to shed a couple of stone but he gets by against handpicked opposition, scraping home on a 10-round decision against Essex man John McDermott in 2009 in his biggest fight to date, although to be fair to Fury he came back and stopped an out-of-shape McDermott in nine rounds last year. Now 14-0 (10), Fury has a big following and all the chat but Chisora is not shy himself and the build up should be entertaining.
As for the fight, Chisora actually holds two stoppage wins over the useful Sexton which rank highter than Fury's brace over the capable McDermott, but it is way too soon to begin a proper diagnosis. Both men have some natural talent, in a heavyweight way, which means they wouldn't last five minutes at featherweight, and both men can whack a bit, but then all heavyweights can whack. Chisora probably has the quicker hands but Fury is much the younger man, although Chisora is hardly old at 27.
Ultimately, for these two, I keep thinking of the line uttered by Ronnie Barker in Porridge in the 1970s: "May the best man lose."

If it happens, I like Chisora in this one. Good shot anticipation and fast hands. Also think he will be able to make Fury uncomfortable as he's more mobile and will get inside. However, a Steward boxer with a reach is dangerous, and Fury probably has an edge in power. He has had/will have good sparring too. Chisora PTS.

Well we don't really know how good, or bad, either of them are, so it's hard to be sure either way. Chisora will be a slight fave I imagine, but with heavies it could end suddenly with one well landed ( or lucky ) punch. Fury might even manage to knock himself out with an uppercut to the chin.

Danny Flexen posted that online after hearing it whilst in Vegas and it could be a good fight for Fury imo. Tarver is still a big name and whilst it may be Fury's toughest test to date, its one he has a chance of winning due to Tarver's age and the height and weight advantage that Tyson will have.

Chisora all the way for me. He is a far "busier" fighter and will keep the pressure on Fury.

Fury looks like he can take a good shot though, so I see the ref stopping this after a brave effort from Fury. Cracking fight though. Really hope it happens.

Whilst I'd have to make Chisora a favourite, Fury's got that certain something about him that enables him to pull situations out of the fire, not least of all his massive fighting heart. I have a feeling he's going to come back from the brink and capture the Lonsdale belt....of course, we have to wait and see if Warren will play ball with the Boards wishes and that's never a sure thing.

Fury's going to hit Chisora harder than Chisora hit his ex.

Can't see it happening.
