You’re still not getting the 7th fight part.

You haven’t, you’re still crusading for the lie.

Fury by upercut. He's the only fighter in Britain who can stand up to one of his upercuts...

But seriously, I'm picking Fury.

I don't think the fight happens. I think Chisora gets Wlad if Wlad gets by Haye -- so while he'll likely take a warmup fight, I don't see what benefit he gets by taking a risky fight with Fury for little gain.

Re: Fury v Chisora? Apparently official....Who wins?
Perhaps Chisora's team will try to get him a fight against a world-level guy, a Peter or Chambers or Chagaev or someone, to show everyone that he was worthy of a shot at Wlad after all. If they genuinely believed that he would be able to do something against Wlad in the first place then why not? That, of course, is easier said than done.
By that logic a fight against Fury doesn't make sense. However if he wants to "prove he is the best in the UK", or if he thinks it will make good money, then I would expect him to have a little bit too much for Tyson at this point. Should be a decent fight while it lasts though.

Fun fight hope it comes off.
I think both are better technically than they are sometimes given credit for but Chisora has adapted much better to the pro ranks so far so I'd be temped to put my money on him.

Chisora late stoppage. Fury is seriously overrated and Chisora will be too much for him.
Re: Fury v Chisora? Apparently official....Who wins?
If this fight comes off, I would be astonished, because Chisora would be unnecessarily risking an almost certain epic payday against Wlad. If Chisora's title shot isn't almost 100% locked-up within the next 12 months already with his win over Sam Sexton, he could probably put together a few micro wins to give his status a mini-boost; such as fights against Audley Harrison, Michael Sprott, Matt Skelton, maybe some international opponents like Dominic Guinn, Monte Barrett, Manuel Quezada, Derrick Rossy, Chauncey Welliver, etc.

If Chisora's not going to defend his British title then he's got to look towards the European belt (Dimitrenko-Sosnowski winner). He can't just stagnate, waiting for a title shot.Lackeos wrote:If this fight comes off, I would be astonished, because Chisora would be unnecessarily risking an almost certain epic payday against Wlad. I think Chisora should just fight Fury. It's good timing. At this stage, Chisora is better, and Fury is definitely improving all the time.

How much was Chisora going to get paid to fight Klitschko?Lackeos wrote:If this fight comes off, I would be astonished, because Chisora would be unnecessarily risking an almost certain epic payday against Wlad.
A fight against Fury would be a big domestic fight and would make Chisora a fair bit of money.

As far as I am concerned just because a fight has been put to purse bids by the Board of Control, does not automatically mean that it is going to happen, and I would only believe it will happen when the contracts are signed and announced in the media. But I do hope it does get made as I think it will be a very good exciting fight to watch, but I do see Tyson Fury's superior reach, jab and handspeed stopping Derek Chisora in the mid to later rounds of any potential fight.

Chisora wins this one for me. Wasn't a fan of his but saw a few of his fights up close and personal and i am coming round to him. He's no great but i think he's solid and has all the basics along with some decent power.
Fury has gone the other way. Was very interested in him when he first came on the scene but after seeing his first few and then subsequent ones on tv, i realised he's just a motor mouth with an interesting name. Slow, predictable & lacking in the power department (at a decent level).
Would be very confident of a Chisora ko

Chisora on points.
I'd be rooting for Fury, but I just think Chisora has the edge on him, although I do believe it might be fairly competitive.

Fury for me. Think the size difference could play a big factor, and Fury can throw a lovely shot to the body when he wants to slowly taking away delboys speed of foot and movement.
Re: Fury v Chisora? Apparently official....Who wins?
fury on points, stronger chin, better jab, and punches as hard as anyone in the hw division.

I think Chisora will always be one step ahead of Fury and will slowly and painfully dismantle him.
Re: Fury v Chisora? Apparently official....Who wins?
I think he has average power. If he was a massive banger McDermott, Power, the Brazilian guy, and Mrazek should have been stopped or stopped sooner. I honestly have no idea how you can think he is the hardest puncher in the world or at least tied for the spot.iwz678 wrote:fury on points, stronger chin, better jab, and punches as hard as anyone in the hw division.

Fury has mediocre power at best. Surely this post was in jest.
