This is a great fight. It has everything and i cant believe they are actually meeting.I wonder if Haye wasnt retiring in October if Booth would take this fight.Anyway, credit to both parties for making it and i hope it is well supported. We all moan, with good reason, about the fights that dont happen so lets appreciate this one.

Once again Frank shows why he is the best promoter, no one else Cpuld make nights like these happen but he always finds a way.. DeGale v Groves will be hyped so much it's unreal.. Boxing will hit the back pages again and that's great for the sport IMO...

Just a hypothetical........suppose Braehmer pulls out, which I reckon he will cos he's flakier than a leper, any chance of seeing The Bomber v Cleverly for the WBO? I'd buy that one.

clevely v brahemar
mitchell v murray
groves v degale, this would be a great ppv package, mitchell, degale, and groves would sell more tickets in london then this show would sell tickets in manchester or wales, so imo london makes perfect sense IF theses 3 fights happen, i heard lofus road (QPR) is a possible venue !

Add in Froch v Johnson from the States/Canada later on and its a cracking night.

Will they really try and sell out the O2 with this - can't see it being more than 10,000 surely?

I can,i think it will really capture the publics imagination.Sky are already leading with it rather than the Clev fight and with them giving it the big push i think its going to be massive.Sky are obviously right behind this fight,it was probably them who wanted the fighters out in the last fortnight.

What did you make of the presser?
Chunky was himself which I don't mind because he's got the skills to back it up.
Groves came across better than I've seen in the past.
Degale's trainer is a bit of a gobshite. I don't mind the cockiness from the fighters but I think it's disrespectful seeing trainers giving it out.

My thoughts were similar. I think both parties are confident, although DeGale appears to be letting his emotions get too high. DeGale's trainer was trying mind games, but looked silly in the process.
