True - and he is hardly Brad Pitt himself !

I read an interview recently and Degale said it was hurtful when people took the micky out of his looks and called him "horse head" !

I don't understand, with all his money and fame - why the long face ? (ba boom shhhhhhhhhhhh ..............)

It is weird though as some boxers (Eubank, Naz) go for the almost pantomime arrogant villain approach and are loved for it, whilst others try it and it actually puts people off them.
Eubank was almost universally despised until the Thompson fights, that's what turned it around for him in terms of popularity. Naz was and reamains a far bigger twat than Degale.

Naz and Eubank had a bit more wit about them.

He did win, greatness is a long way off but. He's certainly been exposed a bit at a higher level.[/quote]

Yeah, I expected it to be a tough fight, in fact I expected he'd lose. Nonetheless I was surprised how amateurish he looked at times. Early days though. They're moving him pretty fast. I'd like to see him do something a little like Haye did in going to Miami all the time. Degale's already been over to the Mayweather gym, they really ought to make that a regular thing if possible.

With a big signing fee, FW has invested heavily in Degale.

FW won't let something like a defeat get in the way of him recouping his investment and making money !
