Rhodes doesn't get enough bouts, Alvarez is busy. The bout would be in the US; how would Ryan travel; (he did well across the penines but the Atlantic is different). I think that although I'd imagine Rhodes would beat Hatton at light middle, he wouldn't stop him. The Moore result was brilliant for Ryan styles and weight making had at least a part in the victory. There's no way that Alvarez would lose on points v Rhodes in the states; ref: Ainscough v Reid (Prizefighter SuperMiddleweights).

For me, this is gonna be a classic match making error from golden boy. I think they'll under estimate Rhodes from the start, and they will live to regret it. Ryans time is now!
