magee doing well so far. slowing the fight down.

lovely straight left in round 3 from magee, im not sold on bute....

Magee doing a good job of bouncing in and out of range, mauling when he gets close and nullifying Bute's flashier work. Good stuff, although the judges will likely have been bribed with envelopes full of foie gras

Froch is deceiving good at boxing , he throws punches from funny angles , whilst ive not seen this fight im confident froch beats bute , its ward that could give froch problems

Yeah, I think Ward would be a nightmare for Froch.....Bute looks good when on the offensive and has good hand speed, just not sure he could get away with that low right hand against some of the top guys in the division

Yeah i agree,butes got some brutal power to go with his skilld

aaand Magee stopped with body shots, though he couldve gone on...Bute's very good, for sure, but I don't think he throws enough and the top guys in the division are going to make him pay for that low lead hand and excessive waiting to counter.

Magee gave a good account of himself tonight, showed some lovely boxing (especially footwork and timing) in the early going and never gave up until the stoppage.

Ah well, win some lose some. Great bod shots from bute

Good effort from Magee....a tidy operator whos had a good career.

x 2 ......he's in possibly the strongest division in boxing currently where the world champions are true top notch fighters.No shame in losing to those guys in the fashion magee has.
