Was it before 1 minute 30 of the 10th round?Tommy Gunn13 wrote:10th roundlefthook82 wrote:guys, did this beat the under 9.5 rounds. I need to know asap please
Appleby, maybe.leforge wrote:Was a good fight competitive! I think walsh will do well who next?
Why would he do that? There is nothing in that fight for Walsh. He's already beaten Awuku (who beat Laryea!!). A good British opponent will be next on the card and after that don't be suprised to see him fighting for the British title.Horse wrote:Appleby, maybe.leforge wrote:Was a good fight competitive! There are plenty of good British opponents to fight, so I don't want to see him fight any unkown Africans. I would quite like to see him fight Laryea though.
The fight finished 1.05 in to the round,so you beat it by 25 secondslefthook82 wrote:Sorry to bug guys, but did the fight end before 1 minute 30 of the 10th round. Boxrec is being ridicolously slow in updating
boylesports have it down as a loss but they also had rios v acosta under as a loss when it beat it by 14 seconds
Laryea is a decent Commonwealth level fighter, so Walsh would learn from the fight and hopefully pick up a good win.Stiff_jab wrote:Why would he do that? There is nothing in that fight for Walsh. they didn't....they showed a few rounds of Godding - Jones later on thoughjonp wrote:I was at the show so couldnt see sky could anyone tell me what fight was shown before the Title fight?
You're talking about world title fights, I'm a huge Walsh fan and even I am not looking that far ahead. I think he will get more credit by beating a good British prospect like Appleby than Laryea, but that's just my opinion. Let's get the British title out of the way and then we can look at world level :)Horse wrote:Laryea is a decent Commonwealth level fighter, so Walsh would learn from the fight and hopefully pick up a good win.Stiff_jab wrote:Why would he do that? Laryea has just fought for the WBO title, so a win against him would help with Walsh's world rankings and make him a more respectable possible opponent for Burns.
Laryea beat Appleby fairly clearly, so Walsh won't get more credit for beating Appleby.Stiff_jab wrote:You're talking about world title fights, I'm a huge Walsh fan and even I am not looking that far ahead.
