I know he didn't see the shot coming, and was relaxed, but looking at his legs after Ingle hit him, he looked very fragile. Perhaps that's his downfall.

He does look a bit fragile, but who's going to be able to land hard enough to stop him? He's got potential. I can't wait to see him fight someone in the top 25 in the World. That's when I really start getting interested.
Shall he call it a day now with you lot writing him off. Price will become Heavyweight Champion of the World with in the next 2 years.Final round wrote:Asterix wrote:Someone on here (Funso?) said that Price has a small head and thin ankles, so therefore has a poor chin. :P

Diameter of skull x circumference of tibia = low density mandible
makes sense.

April 27th is a tune up but will hopefully be a bit of a better opponent than most of his previous ones.
I'm definitely not writing him off. He's a good boxer, big, can punch. He's got loads going for him, as you obviously know. I can't wait to see him fight better opposition. A fight with McDermott would be a fantastic start.FtmPress wrote:Shall he call it a day now with you lot writing him off. Price will become Heavyweight Champion of the World with in the next 2 years.
If he becomes a legit world champion it wont be in the next two years for sureFtmPress wrote:Shall he call it a day now with you lot writing him off. Gotta agree with this one....reggaereggae wrote:very big, educated, good punch but perhaps too fragile

agree with this, he needs to fight someone with a pules or he will end up like Tye Fields...johnswan1 wrote:Laughable bout. FTM, if you want him to be world champ within two years you'd better stop drip feeding him bums!
He has had one fight since 2009 and he came in at a career heaviest 277 lbs. His last win against an opponent with a winning record came eight fights ago against a guy with a record of 27-10-1.
The only good thing about this is that Price will probably get a few rounds out of it, but it should be a complete mismatch.
In 2008 Butler came in a stone lighter than he did in his most recent fight, but still managed to drop a six round decision against a guy with a record of 5-2-2. That says it all.
A joke of an opponent!
P.S. Hope he's not as open to overhand rights as a pro as he was in his amateur days.

Price hasn't ever weighed in at 277 lbs as a pro, and he had 4 fights in 2010 and 1 so far in 2011. Are you talking about someone else?johnswan1 wrote:Laughable bout. FTM, if you want him to be world champ within two years you'd better stop drip feeding him bums!
