Just looked at your record and I was amazed how many top class names you'd shared the ring with! And didn't get stopped a lot (plus drawing with Theophane!) well done and enjoy your retirement

Thorpey- congratulations. you've had a good career, I've see n you several times and always enjoyed watching you, you have been in the ring with a lot of good and very good fighters.
you have a lot to be proud of in your time in the ring and I hope you enjoy your well-earned retirement- everyone in the game speaks of you as a proper gent and I add my name to that list. hopefully I'll get chance to say hello if I see you around at a bill.

Caught some of your twilight fights and reported on them for Boxrec. You've shared the ring with future world titlists and the elite of the domestic scene. Even in your 137th fight (Hamilton?) I remember you screaming at your opponent you weren't weak.Your kind are the life blood of the scene. All the best in whatever you do next, hopefully stiil in the game.
