Saoul Mamby ..... fought 30+ years and in five separate decades.
jersey joe walcott always said a lot of his earlier fights didn't show up in the record books...and that he started even earlier than his first "official" recorded bout, so a few years should be added to his tenure.
the ring record book lists his first fight as taking place in 1930...but adds..."previous record unavailable. plus,he fought a lot of tough quality fighters all through those years.
