Maybe Hall beating a fighter in top 2 and making himself mandatory would be a good start... maybe that would be best route all round makes the fight much bigger. its easy for someone sat at no5 in rankings and CALLING out the Champion.... what about the men sat above him and mandatorys.
Jamies never gone calling anyone and imo done it the hard way. He went and boxed Napa with only 6wks notice as the away fighter with no tv contract, people can say what they want jamie got the dicision worked his knackers off n got what the young lad deserved.. remember Napa had not been beaten by a british fighter for over 4yrs and former European champ. Napa n Arnould were both ranked 1 n 2 in Europe at the time so as jamie beat Napa he then got the Fight with Arnould in FRANCE again with only 6weeks notice and 5 stiches in his eye. and still went n took his chance which ended up been his easyest fight(he says) against a former world title challanger. He then gets a tv contract and finds himself having a voluntry in his home town against reining Italian champion who Jamie made look easy and he got slated for it and since hes won 2 on the bounce incl another defence.
then he was set to defend against Malik Bouziane(world ranked) who pulled out with 5 weeks to go then we get told Ivan Pozo a former Euro champ n world title challenger with 4 weeks to go then 1 week later told he failed his medical now European board have made Stephane Jamoye madatory who was world ranked and hes took the fight with only 3 weeks notice...... all im saying is Jamie as beaten who ever as been put infront of him, travelled and not onced called anyone out not even when he was English champ n inactive. the kid will fight anyone trust me and hes shown that... basicly hes European champ and now his dream is to be world champ... what will hall help him achieve ranked at no5? let him beat a top EUROPEAN fighter or even become madatory then the fights worth something for jamie... we all have different opinions n thats just mine

I know a couple of lads who know him and say that Steffy is a really good lad Mickey. I hope that the bout with Jamie and Stuey Hall comes off; it will be a blinder. If Hall was champ though and Jamie was shouting I couldn't see the fight been made over hard fights that make more sense, either about money or the ultimate prize. Jamie's got more more to lose; though I think he'd win. Hope they can get something worthwhile sorted out. (£30 grand for an unlicensed bout? I can hear loads looking for the gum shield now, Darcy, have you ever heard of a purse like that?)

Stuey is only "CALLING" mcdonnell out because he knows he is supposed to be the best and he doesnt want to wait for ages to get up there as hes not getting any younger. Hes already achieved amazing success in a very short time, same as mcdonnell.Getting the lonsdale belt for keeps was his 1st ambition, hes done that now. Now he wants euro belt, nothing wrong with wanting it as quick as possible.Im sure mcdonnell would not want to fight stuey as there are far easier opponents out there.Stuey wants to be the best and there is only one way you can do that.

I've heard on the wire that he's boxing Nick Otieno from Kenya, who?

Another dissapointing fight that will prob be Sky's headline bout on May 28th. I wonder if this is just a warm up bout for Stuey Hall in July?

He's in their [Commonwealth's] top ten. He has to defend that title by June or get stripped. The guys above him are equally obscure, plus Davies has lost 2 on the trot now. I've no problem him taking this fight so long as the Hall fight happens later this year. At least this way they can built it a little.

They have made the kid mandatory (Commonwealth council).... so theres nothing we can do about it. We sent in over 6 names and sky knocked them all back... its all down to them now there calling the shots or having final say. Nick Otieno is a tough kid never been stoped boxed in WBC eliminators and lost to world class opponents...... im sure he will be a much stuner test than JOHN DONNELY. Jamie as got a European date in Sept and if its a voluntry we have asked for Stuey Hall if not again he will have to fight his mandatory.
