Fair play to Macklin for having the balls to step up and take on one of the best in the division. Cudoues, Qudoes..Kewdouse...Well done!
fairplay!Lol.Sturm is a bum who aside from De la hoya constantly hides from quality opposition! He should be fighting golovkin who's the regular WBA champion.
Way to demonstrate your understanding of contemporary championship boxing.

I hope Mack can do it. But he'll have to either stop Sturm or dominate him to get the nod in Germany.

Anyone booked on?

You can pick your own seat, assuming the grey areas are sold out?

It was only announced once, last September on the Magnificent Seven bill when Barker pulled out.

Previous to that, he pulled out of a European defence against Pirog with a broken nose, and then gave up the European title as part of a deal to get out of his contract with the Hattons.
The Barker pulled out.
It went to purse bids this year, Hennessy won but didn't announce a date and Macklin took the Winky Wright fight. Ironically, as Barker has now left Hennessy, I wonder if he would have pulled out.
Macklin and Barker were due to meet on 5th Septemeber 2009 at the Alexandra Palace for the British title - but Macklin pulled out of that one (to fight for the EBU title), so there's been two fights announced for them, but cancelled due to pull outs from both parties.
