I remember that, one of Hennessy's shows on ITV (unless they fought eachother twice?)

Khaled won every round, Dominic Ingle's face was a picture.... he was too shocked to be pissed off

Im going on the opinion of guys who are better refs officially and they raised there eyebrows at the score. If refs were perfect (none of us are i know ) they wouldnt have to be disiplined by the board. You recently gave the same old line when we critisized IJL for the wayne reed affair yet IJL was severly reprimanded by the board which shows that we were right in our critisism.
And wile i understand you sticking up for the guys on yr side of the fence please dont point the finger of bias as i am quite fair and will complain or talk about anything i dont agree with ,yet you seem to have a problem with anyone asking questions regarding a refs ability to score a fight and seeing as you represent the board this actualy smacks a little more of bias.

Jon I know you were upset by this mate, but it was a scrappy fight you must admit, your guy was deffo the aggessor and had more spite in his shots, but Harkin did do some good work too, I must admit Terry looks better than his record suggests, but scoring is very subjective, as you said "you are going off the opinion of guys who are better refs officially and they raised their eyebrows at the score" I take it one of these was the ref who also got critisised for his scoring in the Smith-Simpson fight. Not wanting to take sides Jon, but I have seen much worse decisions, not saying its right tho. Good luck anyway and I am sure Terry will start getting the rub of the green. :TU:

Just only noticed this thread now, Jon am a fair lad and give credit were credit is due! Terry is one tough lad and yes he does not get the credit he deserves! this was a scrappy fight, i actualy thought i did just do enough to nick a draw! Terry was the aggressor and may have looked busier but I did land just as many shots as him.
as I say he is a tough lad and comes to win, I enjoyed the fight and took a lot out of it maybee a bit down the line we go for round 3? :D

Personally, I thought the referee in Nathan Cleverly's 'world title fight' appeared to be absolutely desperate to get the Polish guy out of there. He was checking on that life threatening (not) cut as soon as he possibly could and seemed to grab his opportunity to send matey back to his dressing room at a point when I doubt that most referees would have done.

The worst ref I can remember was the french guy in charge of Benn McClellon- what an utter idiot.

What about the knob who did Sven Ottke vs Robin Reid, Jeffro? He took 'homer' to new limits!

That was a disgrace I thought fans were ripped off.

Fair enough Ste i really try not to have a knock at boxers in these situations as you are just in there having a good row.But be assured if i watched you in a fight where i thought you were hard done by i would be on here fighting your cause and having a moan about who ever i thought was at fault. (check my posts im always getting involved on behalf of people i have nothing to do with)

Round 3 down the line would be a great scrap if terry can put together a few wins and you bolster yr record with a few more six rounders would be even better if it was a ten rounder for something.

Signing off wish you nothing but good luck and even tho i moan about a refs decision i will not try to knock a fighter especialy one whos gets back in with a guy who has given him a tough time fair play to you, wish all prospects had yr bollocks.
