Not the best, not the most skilled, but boy was he gritty he was the underdog he was the Brit and the British public loved him for it

He is the only British fighter to win the Lonsdale Belt outright three times, and I went bloody hell when I saw the link for the story earlier on, but he has given British fight fans so many wonderful memories.

RIP - I am shocked, he always seemed to be in good health and of course built like a mountain. A good fighter and loved by the people winning 'BBC sports personality of the year' twice. Condolences to his family for this sad loss.

I just saw ricky hattons facebook status saying Henry cooper has died. Damn shame didnt realise henry was that old RIP.
