holding his own he only lasted two rounds

In fairness he looked decent enough for a round and a bit

, Stiverne just caught him with a belter of a shot if I recall correctly. Like Alex says I reckon he'll be exciting to watch, certainly more so than Oquendo would have been.
Yes, and that's what we want to see in Prizefighter. Highly ranked names like Johnson, Gomez and Oquendo look good on paper, but we want short bursts of drama in PF, so bangers who can also go over are the order of the day.

I make Sprott second favourite, after Johnson. Whoever wins in Sprott v Fields is pretty much guaranteed the final since they will face the winner of Airich-Bot.

Skybet have removed Johnson altogether and replaced him with Evgeny Orlov, - shame but how many of us ever felt Johnson would turn up
Assume he is out, if anyone would know its Skybet as they are at the arena doing the odds for Sky so would have the heads up

So Oquendo, Gomez and Johnson gone.
I'm all over Sprott for this. Cute, seasoned and fit.

Evgeny Orlov isn't very good, upright plodder

I hope it's not true. I saw Orlov in Bigger's Better, and while he made it to the final, that's not saying much considering the typical BB quality. He is ENORMOUS, though, (bigger than Tye Fields) so could at least be good for some photo opportunities!
If true, we'd have to make Sprott the favourite now.

If Orlov is the same person I think he is, I saw him on that bigger is better. He's huge, like 6f 7 but awful. Really isn't good. That's if its the same guy.

That's him. He's 6'9" and about 300lb. Really slow but inevitably at his size has power. Can't see him doing anything in this tournament outside of a fluke one-punch KO. He'll be outboxed for 2:50 out of any given round.

Have to agree with you there mate, he didn't look that great when I saw him. I wouldn't want to be the ref trying to split him and Tye up (if they meet) am sticking with Perez. Just noticed his price on Paddypower has been cut to 6/4. I will need to shop around because I think I can get better than that

I look forward to seeing Perez, but this has now gone to being one of the poorest PF's. The three world title challengers have now gone. Gutted.

Why Johnson out. Gomez failed visa and Oquendo pulled out with problems nothing matchroom could done. Perhaps Johnson does not fancy it. Still better to watch than Warren show with Gavin and Maloney show with Hall.

Bad news indeed.
All the fighters with world title experience are out. A collection of oddballs may still be a fun evening, but a harder sell.

Its been advertised with the 3 fighters, and Johnson has pulled out with 3 days to go - probably done most of the selling before the pull outs.
Most of them would appear to be sub British title standard now, obviously Sprott isn't and Perez had the credentials - but the rest of them?

Fair do's - there is still enough of a mix bag in there to make it entertaining. Sprott and Fields is a good one.

I didn't want to suggest how dodgy it looks.
But crikey it does.

No way is it anywhere near as bad as -

Its still a pretty decent line up in my opinion.

I think he said he was going to KO Vitali too...

Any chance you could send me a link to the half price tickets mate?
Edit - think i've found it, is it the £30 ringside on viagogo? With all the fees added on it's actually £45 so not a great offer

Tony is a French champion (not as respected as British champ, but not bad as titles go) and his only loss is to Helenius, which is no disgrace.
Fields I wouldn't say was sub-British title level. He gets a lot of stick based on the Barrett result but he's actually got a handful of solid wins.
Manswell probably about the same level as Tony.
Bot is an unknown - could be good, could be crap.
Orlov IS crap.
And Airich is second-worst.

No,viagogo are a secondary seller, hence the fees. The seller will be paying fees too so will only end up with about £25.
