I never said they were British judges, muppet. I am not going through all this again with you, we both have massively different opinions of that fight.G0mez wrote:"even after the Dirrell fight" - yeah that british ref and those british judges really shafted Dirrell didnt they you muppet :-mickey1975 wrote:I could not believe the cheek of Froch when he point blank refused to go to Germany for the Abraham fight because "some strange decisions happen out there". And he seriously expected them to come here, even after the Dirrell fight...
Referee: Hector Afu judge: Alejandro Rochin Mapula judge: Massimo Barrovecchio judge: Daniel Van de Wiele
Froch wasn't going to Germany because of the disgraceful way Robin Reid was dealt with. And guess what, the ref in that fight judged Froch's fight and gave him a solitary round from the first ten, underling his concerns about Sauerland-friendly officials.
Even Showtime said it was a disgrace. And thus instilled American's for Helsinki.

Just watched it.....makes you larf everyone saw it one way and the man making the call goes the other..
Ed's 'did he outbox you' question was straight to the point and the correct answer was "Yes!" Tom![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Haven't seen the fight but should he of lost then?

The result was a bad one. This isn't to say hometown decisions happen elsewhere (like Germany) but I really hoped we would "rise above it".
The telling factor was Page was booed in to the ring and applauded after the fight. Dallas needs to seriously up his game in a competitive domestic division.

Didn't he used to be managed by frankmaloney himself and he does come from gillingham!
Re: Ian John Lewis should be ashamed
I see on the undercard Tony Hill stopped Paul Samuels, for a guy who is 8-1 he's got a couple of decent wins on his record already.

Even Maloney and Dallas were embarrassed after that.
Re: Ian John Lewis should be ashamed
Tom Dallas seemed to be embarrassed at his performance and did not appear happy to be there at the end of the bout. Page looked a decent boxer, he did well and if he had a manager who could match him in some 'neutral' bouts, he'd get a run of wins.
I don't think Ian John Lewis is corrupt or useless; that was a bad shout though, (and so was the Prizefighter judging a week or so ago).
(The referee in the Metcalf v Baker ABA final was pretty poor, though the right man won, Baker had cause for complaint).
