Well if he feels no pressure that is great Gomez but deep down he must feel he has the experience and skills to upset the Alvarez plus it's his biggest challenge of his career and surely his last roll of the dice to hit the big time.

As much as i would like to see Rhodes win i can't see it at all, Alvarez has serious power and has tremendous boxing ability he is technically the better boxer too. Rhodes won't be able to keep Alvarez off him and i see a late stoppage on the cards. People say he will have more knowledge than Alvarez but that won't have that much of an effect on him unless Ryan can seriously hurt him then he will get into a thinking fight, but im not sure Rhodes has the power to do that, remember Alvarez hasnt been down as far as i can see so not much question about his chin. I hope Rhodes can go and prove me wrong and bring the title back but for me its not happening KO 10th round for Alvarez

J-M Cotto had Alvarez in a lot of trouble in the first round of their fight. Whilst I'll agree Alvarez is the favourite, he's not a granite-chinned machine either. Rhodes is very much a live underdog in this.

I'll be rooting for Rhodes, but I think Alvarez is going to stop him inside 5 rounds.

The Brook and Rhodes fights will be screened on SKY SPORTS 3 at 10am. So again, if you are a Sky subscriber through BT Vision you won't be able to watch either of these fights on delays. Sort it out Sky for fucks sake.

Looks like they have just copied and pasted from the Rhodes fight as Sheffield and Guadalajara are definitely not the same place

a) Even if Rhodes wins it won't be on the news anyway!

b) It's only on at 10am so get up, make a brew and enjoy it instead of griping!

Ryan is an excellent box fighter who is not all that active, is not a massive draw and is up against it far from home. I'm happy that the bout is getting shown and that is not costing me over the SKY subscription.

You're right - this is an absolute disgrace. How can Sky organise their schedules such that their own subscription offering is more attractive than that of their rivals? It's as if they are trying to make out that their service, while more expensive, is better than the BT service. They seem to be operating a strategy that seeks to maximise revenue while diluting their competitors product. In this day and age where everything is free and equitable, it's an utter outrage.

It's bad enough that live boxing is shown only once a week and rarely at the times I'm available to watch, that boxing seems to play second fiddle to other sports that regularly attract larger audiences from more desirable viewing sectors, that Sky Sports have taken foolish risks by funding a medium term commitment to the sport by signing up 2 year contracts with four promoters that has resulted in live boxing on our screens almost every week this year so far, but now they are trying to make money as a business?? Disgraceful. At this rate of behaviour they are probably heavily responsible for global warming, immigration, benefit cheats and the death of Lady Di. I'm writing to my MP.
