McDonnell v Jamoye / Johannesson v Watson
Booth v Arthur / David Price / Tom Dallas
Sykes v Johanneson / Groves v Allotey
Hall v Donnelly / Karl Place
Simpson v Smith / David Price
Webb v Arron / Tom Dallas
McDonnell v Otieno
When you compare that output with Mr Warrens from the same period (on normal sky)
Olubamiwo v McDermott/Gavin v Lomax
Burns v Laryea / James DeGale
Murray v El Ouazghari / BJ Saunders
Maloney may not be delivering household names but his headlines are consistently competitive and, with probably the top 3 british fights of the year to date, consistently entertaining. I'm certainly looking forward to Maloneys Price v McDermott a lot more than I am keen to see Warrens Burns v Cook.
At least FW's fighters are going places. Maloney's stable is poor these days, mainly full of glorified journeymen and prospects that are going nowhere.
Each to their own; I enjoy boxing and particularly enjoy watching 'local' fighters; maybe they are not top world prospects but they box well, fight hard and have pride. Not every show can have the very best against the very best.
IMO a 'prospect' does not necessarily mean a high world ranking. Boxing in Sheffield, Doncaster or Glasgow is not going to have the cachet of a big Vegas show; as a fan of the sport though it is still enjoyable.
Gary Logan does as good a job as anyone as MC + he has developed in confidence and presence; an announcer or MC does not need to be a Buffer clone to do a good job.
