It was a bit but when did he move here from the former Rhodesia? He was only born in 1983 and Henry's last fight was in 1971. Cooper was a well known Brit but had little global exposure; so I think Dereck's ignorance is excusable, especially considering that he admits he does not follow the sport too closely.

hmmm. You have a point but I'm sure he was here before his teens and you'd think being a pro-boxer, out of London.....going for domestic titles at that weight. I appreciate he doesn't follow the sport closely, neither does my Nan, but she knows who Henry Cooper was.
