The Colas fight was not exactly a masterclass... El Maachi didn't know how to work him out, yes he piled up the rounds against a somewhat negative opponent but the only time he physically troubled Colas was when he broke the rules.

Were you even there? Yass killed colas and wasn't troubled at any point during that fight.
Oh and with the Lynes rematch Steve has said if nothing better comes he's way then it's something that will be looked into.
I love all the haters on here because everytime el maachi proves you wrong you find another excuse as to why he didn't deserve to win etc.
Lynes over 12 rounds would be an interesting rematch but if yass Is fully fit I give colin very little chance.

Hey mbudgen. Can I just point out you have not proved anyone wrong or right. I am neither a El Machi lover or hater as I had not seen enough from him and even though he won Prizefighter, that has not proved anything really about his boxing abilities although I did find he came accross well in the interview after. I stand by Lynes won over the 3 rounds and in order to prove himself he needs to get more quality fights.
He is no where near a shot at someone like Ryan Rhodes IMO, still a long way to go.

Well the problem is the British passport as most people know. As he doesnt currently have one so he cant fight for British, Commonwealth or European titles. no offense ,but nowadays a few defences of a intercontinental/international belt gets you a title fight ...so a euro/lonsdalde shouldent matter if he dosent qualify for a passport

If he were that good surely he would have been given a working visa???? A very fortunate win in prizefighter will help but sure his strange style of failing to connect with lots of shots won't be that feared

to be fair not a great prizefighter but no the worst. Doesnt really matter now either he done what he said he would do and if it is true he was ill before prizefighet it is a great achiement winning it and evrybody seems to have forgotten he was number 4 seed the hardestb position. has any one ever won from that position before

Didn't say he was troubled but he was in charge without actually controlling Colas.
Was I there? Front row ringside, a couple of metres from the ring. I know you were hoping I hadn't seen it, but alas, I saw it first hand.

How do you not control someone but win by 7 rounds? (And don't forget Maachi was deducted a point as well) Control is probably the one thing Yassine did have in that fight!
