Price and Perez on the list and not Chisora and Fury  Ha'way man Tommy, sort it out son.
Price or Perez will both beat either Fury or Chisora easy....NO DOUBT....
Once Fury beats Chisora, he's streets ahead of the other two in terms of development. Price would be a tough fight, but Tyson still beats him - Tom Dallas he is not.
Perez beat Tye Fields in a round. Fields has got one of the most padded records in the business. Fury beats Perez with ease once the first four rounds are out of the way.

Ha ha you know nothing about boxing fury would no beat Perez with ease your crazy
Perez ATM is one of the most dangerous heavies on the planet , have you not heard?
He's destroyed most the uk heavies in sparring so I have heard of numerous people, I like fury but Perez would stop him, hed stop chisora too
Him and price would be good but these fights will not happen until someone wins a title and the fights are mandated

Price has the tools to go far... But here aint any need to rush him. He could still be in this game for another 10 years, there's really no hurry to rush him.

I would like to see him fight again some time very soon... Because he barely broke a sweat in his last fight.
Maybe get a ten rounder ext month against Zack Page? Page can be an awkward customer, and Price could learn from it.
And get another knockout victory.
:OhYes: :box:

Helenius

He beat Price in the amateurs and seems to have adapted to the pro game very well. He's got the amateur experience, size, power, and technique to be a champion. I don't see any chin problems either, which is my biggest concern about Price.

I've voted for Mike Perez.

Though with a fractured division, I can see Povetkin, Helenius and seth Mitchell picking up belts.

Marko Tomasović
Jaroslavas Jakšto
Islam Timurziev

Those are boxers that Helenius lost to and Price beat.

Thanks for posting that list; it's always interesting to see how boxers fared against common opponents. I mentioned the head-to-head result mainly because Price is dominating the voting and British fighters are dominating the discussion, and I want people to know that there are foreign heavyweights who are capable of beating Britain's best prospects.

I think Price is a good fighter, but he can't hold a shot, and I will take a good talent with a sturdy chin over a good talent with a shaky chin; I think Helenius represents the former, and Price the latter.

I hope your going to be ok when Del Boy beats your man!
I'll have a bet with you Dave, I fancy Fury to beat Chisora aswell! Been trying to call you the last couple of days. Too cool for me?
Not had a call from you! Give me a call tomorrow. I have bet with you1

I with you; I also try to look at both sides/angles when judging boxers.

What's interesting is that your main issue with Price was not what let him down against Helenius, I don't think. Helenius beat Price on points.

Yes, Helenius beat Price 25-22, but I can't get past the fact that Price was hurt several times as an amateur and by Dave Ingleby as a professional. Price was not a kid or cutting weight at these times, so it's unlikely that he shows much improvement in the durability department. I don't think chin problems will preclude Price from succeeding at a high level--he has too many gifts for that to be the case---but I think they will hold him back to a certain extent.

I've just rewatched that moment with Ingleby over and over, and I don't see a problem. Price isn't same Peter, but he took the shot fine. I think the chin issues are overplayed.

I've watched it a couple times as well, and to me it's clear that Price was on unsteady legs (similar to the Stiverne KO). If Price shows that he can hold good shots from someone with decent power, then I'll agree that the concerns about his chin are overplayed; if he turns out to be such a good fighter that no one can hit him clean, I will still have concerns about his chin, but any possible shortcomings will be irrelevant. It's unlikely that the second scenario plays out, so at some point we should know if too much was made of the chin issues.

David Haye, Wlad, and Amir Khan can't take a great shot, but they have had plenty of success at the highest level of boxing. I have no doubts that Price can become a major player in the HW division, even if he can't take a good shot, but I feel more comfortable picking a fighter who has a decent beard, in addition to size, skill, and power.
