Seems like Haye was about 45 mins late - He sounded a little nervous to me but that was just a personal opinion, he was fine afterwards with Craig Slater so perhaps its just the fact of talking
at a podium on a mike that made me think that.

Did not see Klitschko at the podium but saw him afterwards with Slater and he was his usual calm self, so certainly no winners or losers on what they have shown so far, although they say they have more coverage throughout the afternoon.

Klitschko let slip that apparently during the head to head Haye laid into him with some sort of tirade which Klitschko said was pretty bad and he was glad there was no mike there, dont know if thats true or not.

All in all both guys looked in good shape and not much gleaned for me.

Quite a bit on the SKY sports website. If Haye does win then I think Vitali will forget all about Adamek and call Haye out straight away.

Too me, it seems like he's lost his usual assurance and confidence for this one.

For instance, has he booked his victory party ? I know he did for the Mormeck fight....not sure he will for this one.

Thought it was a bit dull TBH, was hoping for some 'gobby Dave' ranting. Maybe he's just relaxed now, he's there, hasn't got to put on an act, just wants to get on with it etc. Surprising performance though.

I've only read the BBC report, but Haye's managing to alienate a fan in my instance - talk of Vitali being there to see his brother to the ambulance is too much for me given what we've seen happen in a ring to the likes of Michael Watson.

It's pantomime, particularly far-fetched pantomime given that they're two chinny chaps and it'll most likely be curtains as soon as the first flush shot lands.

You see remarkably adept at missing the point, which is that boxing is anything but pantomime. Again, that's your WWE friends. I take your point in that the laws of probability dictate that we're unlikely to have the kind of attritional fight that tends to lead to serious injury or death in the ring, but I still find it distasteful.
As I said earlier, for me the ends doesn't justify the means, and just saying 'controversy sells' doesn't act as a justification as if you follow this through to its logical conclusion you're basically saying anything can be said or done on the basis that it's 'selling'.
You're entitled to your opinion, but if I happen to find Haye's comments distasteful in the context of what's happened in the past in boxing, you're certainly in no place to tell me that mine is 'nonsense'.

Vitali was on the mic telling Haye he better show up at the post fight press conference and Haye just replied make sure you're there, and after a few times both saying it Haye said make sure you're there after seeing your bro off in the ambulance.

What's Vitali like in person? He seems a lot more serious than his younger brother.I just get the impression that he is as tough as old boots and not the sort to be mentally intimidated by anyone.

I have no doubt that if Haye tried to bad mouth Vitali at the press conference, or push him or anything similar, Vitali would go for him then and there.

I thought Wlad looked a little bit shaky at that face off. That's why Manny came to get him and why big brother was there.

I still think that Wlad will win, but I think Haye has gotten to him a bit finally.

However, as we know, winning the press conference means nothing. Fear is a prime motivator in a fight, and a scared Wlad might be a hell of a lot more dangerous.
