Haye looked a little limited tonight...........

People talk about speed, power, angles etc, but his timing looked awful, he didnt sit down on any of his punches and just bobed and weaved, whilst getting whacked by Wlads jab all night............So no defence aswell or not much of one !!

Some people will say that fighting a bigger guy means that you cant use all of your repatoire effectively, because you cant stay on the inside long enough to demonstrate that you have those skill sets, but im starting to think that Haye is a one trick pony. Hands down, bob and weave, throw the left hand followed by the right. That seems to be it, so in reality, his punch power makes up for the lack of technicals skills that he is supposed to posess.

I dont know where he goes from here in all honesty

Agreed. It makes me laugh that so many people were slagging him off for 'avoiding' the Klits, then as soon as he fights one all of a sudden he gets criticised for only doing it as a 'smash and grab'. Just some people wanting to slag him and his team off and finding any excuse to do it.

Anyway I picked Wlad, thought it was a mismatch, didn't buy into Hayes hype and was right, so were the sportsbooks who took all that from from Haye backers, which was the majority.

Anyway, Haye did show he has a HW chin, he could have some decent scraps against some of the bottom half of the top 10.

I dont think he got outclassed Haye never looked like he was in trouble, for me he was too concerned about moaning to the referee and dancing around the ring rather than looking for an opening on Wlad. Haye was there for a payday, the little toe excuse though

Eh? After the Value fight and tonight can you seriously take watching the same movie a third time? Or does he just keep getting given good fights until he actually throws some punches? When was the last time you've seen a fight that was scored 10 rounds to 2 on a card be made into a rematch?

Haye needs to learn how to fight before he steps into the ring again. Not only did he look like he had fought only 4 heavyweight fights, but he looked like he had only 4 professional fights total! He couldn't even stay up on his legs ( even when not getting hit ). Not to mention how he fought scared, and HE was to blame for making the fight "BORING"!



I knew he was no good, and this just proved it. And, of course, after the fight, here comes his excuses.... Pathetic.



Next time you drunk English blokes want to back up one of your countries heavyweight fighters, I'd suggest you do your homework and actually see him fight beforehand, before you go nuts and back him up with gay songs of drunkard Christmas carols.

Haye didn't get dominated in that fight, he simply got outworked and went 12 rds with a man 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier and took his best shots and landed a few good ones himself. Yes he could have done a few things better and was dissapointing but i still think he should be credited for giving Wlad the best fight he's had since the Sam Peter one around 6 years ago.

I'd say that getting outworked in 9/10 rounds can qualify as getting dominated. Wlad was in control for almost the whole fight.

He got dominated, only winning 3 rounds max, and we should be able to take off the union jack-tinted spectacles and admit that. It was a very straightforward nights work for Wlad, and if he wasn't miles ahead on the cards he probably would have taken Haye out. I don't see how throwing almost no punches gave Wlad his hardest fight in 6 years.

And the height is an excuse. 3 inches makes a difference but its not impossible. What was Tyson? 5 inches shorter than Haye? I am 6'5" and trust me it would take a big effort for me to push someone of Haye's size onto the floor - no way should Haye have been flying onto the floor as soon as Wlad laid a hand on him.

I'm not bragging about any American heavyweights though. Most of the heavyweight boxing prospects are playing NLF football or NBA basketball, or MMA. It will be a while before USA produces another heavyweight champ.
