Everyone has their own way that works for them.
BUt i thinnk as in life variety is key.
so probably a combination of intenisive shuttle runs, as well as roadwork and swimming may be the best way to get into stellar condition for a fight.
Mentioned earlier that wlad has obviously done lots of roadwork in the past and i thin kthat is a key point.
do not be fooled ionto thinking this boxer has never done road work. also steve collins am sure has done a lot eithe rearly pro days or amateur period. then they probably adopted the swimming etc as they have found that as time went on it worked best for them etc...
