Dont ask me why, but like others have said - Mitchell seems to be all at sea lately.

Without highlighting his problems again, he got banned for drink driving, blew his title shot in front of a packed audience in his football mecca and has bit the hand that feeds him for the first Murray shot (demanding more loot after a poor effort previously) and now putting fight back a week cos he wasnt ready. (not mentioning allegations / court for drugs)

If Mitchell turns up and wins - his life changes.

If Mitchell turns up and gets battered - I think he'll hit the skids big time.

Personally, I'd not recommend him take the fight whilst the circus surrounds him. I'd deal with that side of things, then if it gets resolved I'd then resume the career.

To fight for a payday is not the right mentality. He needs to fight to want/prove he's the best in the country. This kind of cloud hovering over your camp will affect his eating, sleeping, training - everything. Thus he wont be 100%.

Exactly, Mitchell enjoyed a typical 'Warren fighter' career, padded record against hand-picked opponents at a lower weight as well. I don't doubt that Kevin has some power, but not enough to put down a big, strong and seasoned lightweight like Murray who could really be a Light-Welter.
