Agreed. If I remember correctly he connected with some bombs against Mitchell and they didn't have that much of an effect. McCloskey has a solid chin aswell.

I havn't seen the Cuello fight but vaguely remember the Toleda fight, more so for the biting incident than the fight itself.

Good comeback fight, get his rankings up a wee bit and a well known name. McClosley should have too much for the ridiculously one dimensional Prescott. Should buy McCloskey some noise with the Khan connection.

I'll be getting tickets as soon as they are on sale. The Odyssey in Belfast is a great venue for boxing. The atmosphere for the Rogan fights was unreal an now that Dudey's profile has risen due to the Khan fight I see a great attendance. McCloskey to win on points for me.

McCloskey by a stretch, Prescott will swing a few times, miss, and then get countered. Could go on like that for 12 rounds.

Our difference of opinion on Dudeys career will forever be intact if you think this is a "cashing in" fight. Prescott really isn't that special and McCloskey has the perfect style to beat him.

I've read in BN this is a final elliminator to face khan thats why he's taken the fight. i want bredis to win in hopes of a repeat but i think mcClosky will

Prescott has never fought at Welterweight, he was a lightweight who has moved up to light-welterweight.

Prescott has that name recognition amongst casual fans after he beat Khan so it would be an easy sell. Mabuza has recently switched up to welterweight and is fighting for the much coveted IBO title in September. Holt wouldn't travel to Belfast for a fight but he could be a possible opponent for Paul if he ever decided to chance it in America. I agree with you on Kotelnik as a potential opponent, he has been successful at the level Dudey is trying to reach and would provide a stern test. However it is Prescott who is coming to Belfast and gives the Irishman a great chance to get a rematch with Khan or the winner of Maidana-Guerrero which I think will be Guerrero by the way.
