I wouldn't be surprised if Bradley doesn't fight again this year due to his legal problems. He doesn't seem to keen on the fight anyway. Read his latest interview on ringtv.

I think Robert Guerrero will take care of Maidana and he would be a good opoonant. That's a tough fight for Khan. Guerrero is a sleeper. Alexander is another option, but then Bradley will moan and say he has already beaten Alexander.

People need to get Prescott out of their heads, Khan has won eight on the spin since then, at least six of them are better fighters than Prescott can ever dream of being.

I'm pretty neutral on Khan, but I'd wager that most of the people wanting him to fight Prescott would then be up in arms if Bradley then said ''oh, I'll fight him'' knowing that Khan had tied himself up.

Morales is done.

Matthysse and Maidana are both good quality opponents that would provide him with a stiff challenge, Matthysse especially as he's the more skilled of the two - failing that move straight up to 147.

Bradley does not want to fight Khan. As clear a case of a duck you will likely see

Matthyse has 'lost' his last 2, and was 'beaten' by a guy that Khan just splattered. It would be an excellent fight but how do you sell it?

Why risk maidana? That type of style will always trouble Khan and he beat him fair and square. If Maidana gets past a boxer like Guerrero he will be even more equipped to deal with Khan and he could well take him out next time

Its interesting that a lot of people want the Prescott re-match and a few have also mentioned Morales.........

I cannot understand the interest that is being generated in either fight, apart from the fact that Khan would gain a revenge of sorts over Prescott and Morales would be a name on his record, akin to having Barrera's name also. Khan would beat Prescott quite comprehensively in my opinion and that fight only made sense once he had won the WBA crown, not four or fights down the road as is now the case. The other thing is that Prescott hasnt really done anything to warrent a shot against Khan, other than beat him when he did and its a fight that ultimately Khan would learn nothing from. The Morales fight just does not appeal to me in the slightest. It would be a decent fight for the first 4 or 5 rounds until Khan started breaking Morales down and eventually stopping him. Morales is a tough guy and he looked pretty good against Maidana, but styles make fights and against Khan his age and rustiness would be exposed big time. I'm not one of those people that believe its a good thing to have a name on your record just for the sake of it. You could argue that Judah and Malignaggi were names to pad out Khan's record, because both fighters left their prime years long ago, but the likes of Barrera and Morales on your record 8 to 10 years or so after either guy was at his prime is a little lame and doesnt amount to a great deal.

Which fight would get more PPV buys in this country.....

Khan v Bradley

or

Khan v Prescott

I'd say Prescott every day of the week. The rematch has cross over appeal and non boxing fans would buy into that.

There's only 3 fights for Khan at 140 IMO, they are:

Bradley - Khan wants it, Bradley does not, but there's nothing he can do if Bradley wont face him

Maidana - would be nice to watch, but Khan does not have to cover old ground. He was a clear winner on the night, if anything they could do it again at 147

Prescott - Khan should take care of this blemish on his record, but i think his handlers are the ones preventing it

I dont think he will go for a rematch with either Maidana or Prescott, its also looking very unlikely that Bradley will be willing to fight him next. If thats the case, then i'd support a move up to 147lbs. I dont think Mayweather will fight for much longer, i also think that Khan genuinely wants this fight and knows he needs to get into position asap.

That is one of my reasonings behind not supporting a Prescott re-match. I think that Mayweather wont be around too much longer and the seconds are ticking for him to be gone within 18 months perhaps. The way fights are presented these days, its a six month affair from start to finish and thats precious time in which Khan could try and gain more experience by facing Bradley or Alexander or even Maidana again and then either Berto or Ortiz at 147lbs. I dont think he would ever beat Mayweather, but its a question of whether he wants to approach the fight in a way that gives him more chance of competing. He could fight Prescott, Morales and then Kell at 147lbs, but would that be the best preparation for a fight with Mayweather ?
