Depending on just how good Fury's chin really is, either a knockout win for Price, or wide unanimous points.

People seem to forget, regardless of the official result, McDermott beat Fury 1st time and was ill the 2nd time. So Fury still has a lot to prove.

Sure, he beat Chisora, but look at Chisora, look at his conditioning and the way he fought. Walking in straight lines, plodding into Fury and happy to be held and rest.

All that is not Fury's fault but to now suddenly label this guy as some kind of saviour or future World Champ is pretty ridiculus.

Price beats him over the course and Price bangs a lot harder than Chisora and he has also been sparring Haye, Wlad and Vitali.

It's called perspective. you might be advised to trying to apply some

Chisora was woeful and in woeful shape. Fury did what was required and Chisora made it much easier for him. Or did you not watch the fight?

I suppose trying to be honest is a little tough for some people.

Price would stop the Fury that fought on Saturday night. He's better technically, fitter and has a better defence. I can't see how Fury would beat him at this stage.

Price could be the best of the lot in a few years time.

fair enough Price has not really been tested but he has pretty much walked through everyone. Hands down he is the next prospect, I wouldnt mind throwing Richard Towers into that mix too as he needs to fight more frequently too and have bigger test.

Being knock down is not the end of the world as long as you can come back from the floor, Do not let things like this get in the way of anyones choice. There no way fury can ko price i believe after watching him on saturday night it was a good showing from fury and he has come on alone way but dose lack power for a heavyweight great. We will not know untill the fight happen or if it happen. Big John might have something to say about that on Nov 5

There are a lot of Latvian subsistence farmers on Price's record. I even remember him fighting a pregnant man. Fury has had the harder fights, has shown that he has dog in him and a decent set of whiskers. Price has shown nothing but a good punch so far

The difference between hurting journeyman and last minute replacements compared to being able to do it to top fighters is miles apart.

The same lot who are talking rubbish about Price are the same people who didn't give Fury a chance against DC early doors.

I too believe that if Chisora had trained he would have beaten Fury.
I did pick Tyson to win on points but although he did look good saturday night i think a poor condition chisora showed how easy Fury was to hit.
If David Price hit him as many times as Chisora it would be curtains for Fury.
I even think that audley would pose him big problems.
I'm not anti Fury though as he does make me laugh but i am realistic and theres lots of bits that need ironing out and right now David price would iron him out!!

He wanted to come in heavier to counteract Furys size not anticipating that Fury was going to come in at one of his career lightest weights.

Chisora trained for extra weight / extra power and came to try to knock Fury out.

Coming in heavier seldom works though..... it's probably fair to say that he's been ''coming in heavier'' all his career, when really he ought to have been between 16-17st throughout.

There's a difference between a slim Holyfield at 205 and a muscular one at 217 for the first two Bowe fights and Delboy being around the 240's and coming in at 260 for the fight with Fury.

I really can't believe coming in massively overweight and very unfit was a tactic

Didnt Price get beat by KO in the olympics? I've heard and read he had a few KO defeats in the amateurs

Personally, I think this subject is better broached after Price has fought McDermott. We all know that McDermott, right now, is no pushover at domestic level. Let's see what Price shows us in November. It's his first proper test, imo.

Fury is well proven now at domestic level. He hasn't exactly passed with flying colours, but he has shown that he is difficult to beat. He has also shown improvement, though his punching technique still looks awful.

Yeah Price has taken a number of counts, his chin doesn't lookcast iron but you got to be real good to get to it.
I think this will be his undoing past European level
