I fought for a Mediterranean Title, obv I know it is of no value and I didn't even win, but my name and photo is on the poster and it means the world to me.
It is all about levels and it was great for someone of my ability to say I fought for some kind of title

i know scott well i used to train with him at the peacock around the time he beat jamie moore

Yeah Scott is a good guy, I fought him twice, he looked after me well in Malta and we had a real good night after the fight

curtis got it spot on ,neil beevers has had to retire through injury ,he won a masters welter title and it means the world to him,something to show his grand kids.

Coco you've been in against some good Boxer's 5 British 4 Commonwealth 3 European 1 WBU Champion there has been Different Title but only counting the mean one's........ That You?

Yeah mate, been in with a lot of good fighters, if you include the mickey mouse straps I have been in with 7 world champs!!
Lost to all of them though!

Masters titles can be a good career move for a manager who wants his fighter to get rounds experience.

Take the example of Adil Anwar from Leeds. Last year he was put forward for the English title against Nigel Wright but the board blocked it as they said he didn't have enough experience because he'd never done more than six rounds.

To prove he could do 10 rounds his team organised a Masters title fight. They are pretty easy to sanction and it allowed him to show he can do the distance. This season he should box for the English as originaly planned. If he hadn't have gone down the Masters route he would probably be considered a six round fighter still.

I gone the distance with most, been on some big shows, been on tv, travelled about a bit, means a lot to me

not realy mate as i've said before why couldn't they put him in a international fight over 10 it doesn't have to be a title fight
