Yeah, Fantasy Bar in Manchester.

He was one of the boxers at Phoenix Camp when i first started going to watch them train as a teenager along with Carl Thompson, Maurice Core, Chris Barnett, Paul Burke, Ricky Sackfield, Lee Armstrong, Quinn Paynter etc.

Ensley was always really friendly and always called me 'our kid' even though he didn't know me from Adam. I always watched out for his fights after that and remember being really surprised at how he got rid of the Anthony Ivory cos he was so tough.

I think i redesigned the poster for Bingo's fight with Gilbert Jackson for one of my A-level art projects.

I don't remember him - maybe he was a bit earlier than when i started going. Fran Harding was another that was there, a scouser who i think finished after about a dozen fights undefeated.

I heard he was a very very good fighter

Its a shame Bingo didnt land the left in the fight just seem to remember he couldnt get near him gonna have to dig that fight out i think, also got the Jim Rock and Gary Logan but dont think i ever see his win over Ivory which capapulted him!! I think Andy Holligan trained there for a while to, think he trained for Shea Neary there would of been some great spars down there!!

Yes mate, Holligan was there for a while. He sparred a green Hatton for the Jimmy Neary fight. Mike Brodie was there when i first went too.

I think Ensley was in Foster's corner in the Wright fight.
