He was flapping a few times from the 6ft Chisora lunges....either Klit would take him apart very easy.

Are you retarded ?
Fury was just 17 when he fought Price in the ABAs and Price was a man at 24 ...and he still wouldn't knock Fury out and lets be fair Tyson was just a child at the time !
Price has been knocked down 20 times in the ABAs and has been knocked out/stopped .... Fury never was
Maloney wont let Price no where near Fury.
Really, so how come Maloney press have already been on here talking about a fight?

furys chin looks average to me, chisora is heavy handed but he's not a power puncher and every time he landed on fury, fury looked dazzed.
Fury hads improved alot and his conditioning is looking far far better, but his defence is amaturish and he hasnt shown any world class skills yet. He's got a year or so to go (if he can improve further) until he stands any chance of not taking a one sided beating from a klitschko. At this point in time he would have to rely on his size and a lucky telegraphed punch.
NOW WAY!!! I said before this fight (ahem cough cough..as I pointed out to all of you here a few weeks back:-) that it's "all about Fury's chin" and Fury DEFO passed the chin check but becasue his balance is awful thats why he was falling around at times but he wasnt hurt ever in the fight.
Now If only he could actually fight.
Precisely, his poor balance is also why he has so little power in his shots as well. He has a great chin, but his punch technique is piss poor. You only have to look at his jawline and short very thick neck to see that he is built to take shots well.

at this time in fury's career the fights a mismatch wlad's far to seasond, fury's tough and brave and i dont see wlad ko'ing him, i although i can picture the ref diving in late on to stop it after wlad's put a slow methodical beating on him round after round.

disagree - you dont back up that far and lye back on the ropes if you're just off balance he was dazzed and almost a handful of times at that. When he got hit by a decent shot he just stopped everything he was doing for a couple of seconds.

fury has got all the ingrediants but he need's to be taught alot imo.he throws arm punches & if he was made to be more solid & utilise his assets he could do big thing's imo.
Spot on assessment IMHO.
Fury is definitely very game & will not fight scared, that's for sure.
I firmly believe that he needs to pack his bags (ala Dennis Andries) & go over to the USA & beg Emanuel Steward to be his trainer.
Steward is just the type of guy to get Fury punching properly & utilising his assets properly.

For all the people who voting in the poll that Tyson Fury would last only a couple of rounds with Wlad - what basis is this on?
Historically Wlad almost NEVER achieves early stoppages - most of his fights go close to the distance with a very late stoppage of KO.
When fighting someone 3 inches taller than him, physically much bigger than him and THIRTEEN years younger than him - with great fighting heart too + who has never been on the canvas, or even received a standing count in his entire career - I don't see anything other than this going to a points decision.
Which - at this stage in Fury's career - would be very one sided in Klitschko's favour.

Not convinced Tyson is naturally much bigger than Wlad, Wlad is a solid mid 240's, Tyson still had weight to lose against Chisora who was mid 250's.

Fury is no way bigger. He may be taller, but his legs are like noodles. If he shed all the blubber he would be about 230.
Wlad is by far the more athletic of the two. Tyson has a big frame, and is barrell chested, but he's more of a lump than an athelete.
I still say he could go the distance, but I think if he tried to put it on Wlad, which he may well do, then he gets put to sleep inside 9.
If Tyson had a more technicall correct jab, he could cause Wlad a lot of problems. Tyson has quick hands, and the second longest reach in history at 85 inches, but his jab is very sloppy at times.

Wlad would lose power in the jab with the extra height, so long as Fury uses that hight on this occasion. This combined with Fury's so far solid chin could see this go on late. They key is his conditioning, if he can take the jab and not become a staggering wreck as we have seen before then it will be a Wlad UD anyway. If he is out of shape it is a Wlad TKO ref takes pity stoppage 6-10.
Then again, Wlad will know Fury does not punch correctly, and due to that lacks the power to hurt Wlad. Wlad may just attack and try to bomb him out early, then gas, and leave Fury to slap his way to a UD like he did with Chisora.

Fury doesnt sit on his punches, but he has power and when he does throw a bomb its very effective. He has genuine 1 punch KO power when he throws a punch correctly imo.

But got too carried away slapping Chisora and showboating. I think Fury has potential if he gets with Steward. How were the Klits at 22?

It can be very difficult to discern sarcasm over the internet and I didn't think that particular smiley made anything obvious. The winking smiley is the best choice for evincing sarcasm.

My choice of smile was the 'eyes pop out of your head in disbelief' kind. You get it now anyway.
