Joe brings as much to the table as anyone else. Dempsey will face Louis in a few weeks when the mandatories are expected. If the roles were reversed I wouldn't expect Dempsey to walk into a title shot that's a voluntary, it's the way the boxing world works.
Take the hard fight? Earn respect?
Dig up respective records, I'd wager Dempsey has the better resume.
Oh, and how many world champions have you had this season? Two less than me?
