I have known Gwyn, Josh and their dad through boxing for 15 years, having found them to be honest and straight forward people, don't get me wrong they are fighting men but very fair, there is no room in this world for knife crime............

He stabbed someone five times and he's being bailed??? No wonder this country is such a fornicating mess!

Not sure if we'll get the full picture ever.

But whatever occurs, all I know is one lad got multiple stab wounds from all angles and is intensive care - the other knife-wielding nutter walks free.

nothing has been cleared up. one side says one thing, the other side something different. i would think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

i would think self defence would be a justifiable reason for bail after knifing someone five times in the street, esp if attacked by a trainer boxer. im not saying this is what happened, but obviously there must have been a good reason when the person doing the knifing wasnt remanded.

I've heard the full story from a mate in a local Yorkshire paper and suffice is to say that Gwyn comes away from the whole thing looking like a saint.

I have known gwyn mick and josh forr over 12 years from the amatuer days, and I can honestly say we have never had any cross words infact I visited them at their house a few times and they came through to mine, gwyn has always shown me the upmost respect and every time he sees me he makess a big fuss, they are very close as a family and very simular to me , Mick is very passionate about boxing and if I ever wanted to know about a boxer I'd call him and hed tell me everything,he as been ill with his back and I mean ill,but still gets in the gym, josh is 1 in a million ,such a lovely kid and so dedicated to his boxing ,I know gwyn will pull through cause he's a strong set lad but mmy thoughts are with them and for the headbut rumour its a load of rubish ...
